Breathlessness update

Thanks to the advice you gave me about other reasons for breathlessness than the Pred. I saw a senior GP in the same practice yesterday. He listened and checked my chest and heart and has organised an x-ray, blood tests and ECG and heart muscle test because he thinks it might be mild Atrial Frib. or Tachycardia (sp?) He noted a high pulse rate and some different heart rhythms.

He explained that this can be caused/triggered by inflammation and or PMR but could just be from the added weight gain or it being in the family.

He was interested in the advice you gave me and was glad that I followed up. Fingers crossed it is nothing too serious and which can be fixed. So thank you again.

Do hope it is happening when you have the ECG - but he does sound as if he has heard enough to know there is something going on.
