Diuretics and maintenance daily potassium?
Does anyone on here get eg monthly
blood
tests
and is on a maintenance dose of Sando K/fizzy potassium? I'm sure the gp will support the blood test but my heart registrar said the potassium wasn't prescribed as a maintenance because of risk of high potassium.

Need encouragement :(
I've had so many tests, worked on a myriad of things - iron infusion (didn't lift my crushing fatigue or didn't stop hairloss), estrogen prog patch, trying most meds multiple NDTs and synthetics, had several cortisol salivary and

advice
I do feel like am going crazy as general
blood
tests
/obs etc are ok. Have been taking hydroxychloroquine since June. If I do get a lupus diagnosis, does it get better?? as am fed up of feeling so awful! Thankyou for reading any advice appreciated/ or what to ask the rheum team specifically?

HNY!... and a warning for those who lead busy lives (aka all of us)
I visited my GP and she ran all the usual
blood
tests
and scans and they came back clear. By October I could barely function and scheduled a tele-health appointment where she ran a mental health questionnaire that I failed miserably and I was prescribed an anti-depressant.

I am waiting for a new panel of

Cardiology apt. With HF doctor
I also told him my Gp pharmacist mentioned I should come off warfarin and go on one of the newer anticoagulant (NOAC), he said they’re no longer new but he don’t see any reason why I can’t change because at least I won’t have to keep having

Tired, fatigued, out of breath, dizzy spells?? - don't ignore it, get checked!!
After a series of
blood
tests
, turns out I am on the cusp of under active thyroid, and I have macrocytic anaemia (which explains the tiredness, fatigue , dizziness and other systems) and an large internal bleed that at the moment they can't find but which is causing the anaemia.

Being anxious about Hypothyroidism
I am now waiting to go for further
blood
tests
after now about 4-5 months. I have, to my mind, never had any symptoms before, during or since this whole episode. I don't feel different to before taking the Levo. I don't have (and fortunately never did have) menopausal symptoms.

latest results, confused, please advise!
A scan had revealed I had inflamed thyroid so
blood
tests
were done. I did read some research that said if antibodies below 500 could often be resolved. Is this normal for results to change to normal so rapidly?
