bnp level high, breathlessness and fluid in lungs. What does this mean?
Gp thought I had a hernia but before re- referring me to bariatric surgery has given me a full gamut of chest X-ray and
blood
tests
. My bnp test came back reading 1200, and there is fluid on my lungs. The other tests are all fine. My hr is now 90, bp 120 over 72. He has prescribed diuretics.

Symptomsā¦.Iām confused
Endo apt few days ago and he wanted to do his own
blood
tests
so Iām waiting for those. I am worrying as my T3 was near the low range and some people appear to get fast heart rate using it which I imagine would not be good for me Then I read that Levo can be a problem too.

Not your regular āirregular bleedingā (call for help)
My
blood
tests
(and the consultant is reluctant to tell me what I was tested for for some reason) apparently prove that I am perfectly healthy. Have had external and internal pelvic ultrasound scans. All completely fine. The perfect picture of health.

Asking for blood tests
Iābe been on levotyroxine for eight years now and have not had major issues. Iāve put on weight in the last 18 months, from overeating due to stress. Putting on weight is easy, but losing it seems impossible. I am 47 years old, so perimenopause can play a role, but I am asking doctor for blood test

Post Radiotherapy Fatigue
Iāve had repeat
blood
tests
to rule out treatable causes of fatigue and no treatable causes were found. Also my lymphocytes are still below range. My oncology says this canāt be explained by radiotherapy so long after finishing treatment. Any thoughts/ advice/ shared experiences welcome .

What's considered the best time to take a blood test, to check levels?
Hi there, general query, but wondered what the best routine/time is to take a
blood
test to check thyroid levels. I've usually taken my own
tests
in the morning about 9.30am, but I've always done this after taking my thyroid meds at 7am that same morning.

Having trouble getting my prescription
I then received a txt message saying rejected on account of being too early and that I was overdue on
blood
tests
. I had never been asked to have a
blood
test, if so I would have happily had one. So I went to the practice to collect the blood form which simply said TSH.

unstable tsh levels
From October to June, my
blood
tests
were abnormal despite 4 changes of Levothyroxine doses . Once this was sorted, I had a severe reaction after a swim in cool water this summer. I had a syncope with a severe blood pressure drop and vomiting/severe drowsiness.

breathing difficulties 9 weeks post ablation
Does anyone have any advice I have been using google and come across pulmonary vein stenosis, he is worrying that he has heart failure although I am sure the
blood
tests
and chest X-ray would have shown something. It has been a long and worrying 2 months really hoping for some improvement.

Feeling Happier
I had taken the print outs from my last few
blood
tests
so he was able to enter those on my record. I know thereās no guarantee Iām not in the 25% but my local doctor more or less said it was 100% certain and there wouldnāt be any particular treatment!

Advice on Tests Please
So far, I have had āserumā
blood
tests
for total levels. Is there any other tests I should be aware of that could give me a better picture? My concern is that the vitamins are just swimming in the bloodstream and not actually doing anything. Many thanks in advance š«¶š½

Possible GCA?
Iām waiting on
blood
tests
right now to check the markers again. Any advice, questions, or info appreciated. I just read a pretty recent academic article about the efficacy of ultrasound rather than a biopsy of the temporal artery.
