B vits
Blood
tests
haven’t shown anything specific either. Any suggestions on another brand of b vits to try please? I’ve been put on armour thyroid 1 1/2 grains and have been taking that for a month now and am actually feeling worse currently.

ELP Private NAFLD, HEP A,
tests
I have had in the last 11 months, only to be told they have been lost, although she did tell me I had stage 4 Fibrosis which can be reversed by losing weight, exercise and change of diet.

Help with Iron results
Good morning, I've had an in-depth
blood
tests
done which has flagged multiple issues, it seems my health is in much worse shape than I'd realised. Iron is one of the flagged areas. I'd be grateful if you could advise on what my next steps should be.

Blood test protocol for Thyroid levels
Hi, just need some advice on doing Thyroid
blood
tests
in the evening. I have seen the protocol for doing it in the morning before 9am and on an empty stomach etc. What about if your taking your T4 medication before bedtime at 11pm after eating your last meal 4 hours before.

There is an article in the Mail: “Blood tests say my hypothyroidism is under control. So why do I feel so exhausted? Ask DR MARTIN SCURR”

Please can someone help me?
I have had very raised inflammatory markers in
blood
tests
since 2009 but this seems to have been ignored. Lately I have had tingling especially in my hands, legs and feet and all my veins are suddenly visible where they have never been before and I am getting shooting pains and hot flashes.

Bench mark blood tests before switching to NDT
I would welcome any comments or advice on these results and on the process of switching from levothyroxine to NDT. Thank you! Hypothyroidism I have been taking levothyroxin 100 mg for over 30 years since my early 40s. (This is my only medication. Otherwise I keep healthy with yoga, regular exercise

adrenal insufficiency and reduced renal function
I have regular
blood
tests
(eGFR) for kidney function and my last one showed my kidney function to have dropped. I am having another blood test for this in 10 days and hope it is a bit better. It had been stable before.

Positive rheumatoid factor and CCP
Just over 6 weeks ago I had pain in hands so went to GP who did
blood
tests
my RF is now 945.4 a ccp
blood
test has come back as 348. GP did a referral to rheumatology on 6th June and again on 4th July. Am nervous about it being RA as I saw what it did to my dad.

Questions for GP
Apart from insisting on ultrasound for goitre, should I be asking for more thyroid related
blood
tests
- or could just do privately for ease. Since reading up about thyroid problems & matching my symptoms, I do feel this is a possibility that needs further exploration.

Ultrasound confirmation
So today I had an ultrasound which confirmed my Thyroid was enlarged with very little blood flow which concurred with my medichecks blood test results pointing to Hashimotos..... he is going to write straight to my GP ( who said his
blood
tests
showed everything normal ) so keep fighting for answers

Thyroid Nodules - Advice Please 🙏
However,
blood
tests
I had for my thyroid 12 months ago when starting HRT did come back normal at that time. Do you have any advice on if I am doing right, by pushing for further investigations?

Access to medical information
I have had many
blood
tests
but only recently learned, from this site, that I might have access fo their results. I don't suppose I would understand - so there might be need for access to medical professionals- back to square one.

GP no help. /sigh.
Apparently it has to be fibromyalgia from the
blood
tests
they did in January (1st Diagnosis 2 years ago). Cant offer any other tests and scans. I've done the years of physio tooing and froing and pain management. Told him about the intense random flare ups that have begun, potential meds to try.
