Diagnosed with Graves today
I called the GP they said stop taking & go in for
blood
tests
, the
blood
tests
come back ok. Today the GP rang the on call endo & they said to try my on Propyithiouracil instead, I am absolutely petrified of taking these after reading the side effects.

'Routine' appointment to discuss thyroid results?
I had some
blood
tests
about 10 days ago, one of which was thyroid function. I've had the same in the past and usually no follow up call. Today I've had a call from the GP to book a 'routine' appointment to discuss the results. Is this something they start doing after a certain age?

B vits
Blood
tests
haven’t shown anything specific either. Any suggestions on another brand of b vits to try please? I’ve been put on armour thyroid 1 1/2 grains and have been taking that for a month now and am actually feeling worse currently.

He4 ovarian tumor marker
Doctor sent me to
blood
tests
. The marker Ca125 was within limits, and He4 was elevated to 270 pmol. It has been 9 months since then. Ca 125 remains below the limit, He4 increased to 335 pmol, free fluid is present. Ct showed no changes in the abdominal cavity. I have diagnostic surgery in a month.

ECG same 9 months post TAVI as 6 months before?
I was there for only three hours, during which I had an ECG,
blood
tests
and a detailed discussion with a doctor. Her many findings have just appeared on my GP Patient Record, and I've spent half-an-hour deciphering all the medical abbreviations.

Morning cortisol test results have arrived.
I saw my rheumatologist a month ago and she requested a morning cortisol test along with my usual
blood
tests
. The results arrived in the post yesterday- Cortisol 240, CRP 9 (up from 3 two months ago and in my opinion most likely due to back strain caused by extra physical exertion).

going through diagnoses
I’m just going to get the
blood
tests
done today. Questions I have are: could the injury be the trigger? how does RA effect general day to day life for people? what would I need to consider moving forward if it is diagnosed?

PMR & Cellulitis
I’m now waiting for results from
blood
tests
but wondered if the PMR could affect my response to the antibiotics or if anyone could suggest anything that might help. I have another two weeks here before flying home. Thank you.

Falling platelet counts after achieving Undetectable Minimal Residual Diseaese
However, my most recent
blood
tests
show platelets going from 143 to 117 and now 99. My doc is monitoring. Anyone have the same experience? Of note, I've had a history of relatively low platelets for a number of years, even before CLL diagnosis. I'm just wondering why this is happening.

I had an under active thyroid, been taking 50mg levothyroxine for 1 yr, 3 blood tests since all show perfect levels but I can’t lose weight.
Even though my
blood
tests
show that I’m on the correct dose of Levothyroxine since having a hemi-thyroidectomy, I cannot shift the pounds, even though I am eating very few calories every day.

recurrence after 2 years
regardless it’s 6 monthly CT scans and CEA
blood
tests
to keep an eye on rate of this reoccurrence. I need to get fitter and shed some weight, the latter having been an issue for a few decades 😂 any suggestions re healthy eating for pseudomyxoma survivors would be welcome.

Blood
tests
were done and nothing came from them! I don't think they checked Geletein though. Any advice please would be great. I feel too tired to take the antihistamines. Excuse spelling!

Suspected Psoriatic Arthritis
I also have had slightly raised crp on
blood
tests
for a long time apparently. Just after some advice for my appointment really, things to mention etc as I don’t have any swelling at the moment and no active psoriasis patches, but i do have pictures of when it has been bad.

During the meeting she said she would give me a prescription for Letrozole, I told her I wasn't happy to start the meds without first having a bone scan and mentioned I was concerned about side effects of the meds, alerting her to the fact that previous

had indicated I had slightly raised
