Confused. Any advice appreciated!
Having been diagnosed only 12 days ago I found myself back in A & E in the early hours of this morning! I reckon this attack started about half an hour before I woke as I'm sure I sort of new I had it. Woke up at 4 am to full blown AF. Tried breathing exercises, reading, walking around but by 6am realised

AFib status: Permanent for at least the past two years. 75 years old. Medication: Apixaban, 5mg Bisoprolol, Amlodipine, 5mg Ramipril, Atorvastatin. No offers by my doctor of a cardioversion or an ablation. I have been fairly stable on those meds since it was confirmed that I had Permanent Afib.

I would really appreciate some help ,advice ,please!
I posted a couple of months ago asking for advice on alternative to Bisoprolol. After reading reviews I thought I would like to try Nebivolol. My GP wouldn’t prescribe Nebivolol ,only carvedilol, as I had an appointment with a cardiologist in 8 days I thought would ask the doctor then. During the

Newly diagnosed
Hi all, diagnosed 4th May after episode of very rapid heart beats that wouldn't stop. Went to A & E where the diagnosis of AF was made. Stayed in for 5 days while they did CT scan of lungs and ultra sound of leg. Reason for that was that I had no symptom at all until a partial knee replacement 2nd March

Update from last post
6 weeks after 3 stents still feeling awful. Doctors have repeated my blood tests as creatinine was at 89 repeat test 2 days later 141. Waiting on another blood test as doctor called me in. He has dropped Bisoprolol to 1.25mg and stopped the Lisinopril as my throat swelling got worse. This is never ending

failed ablation and new flutter
hello, I had an RF ablation for afib Jan 27th at the ripe age of 38 (woohoo). I have absolutely no risk factors and nothing lifestyle wise that can be adjusted. Unfortunately I ended up in flutter at 160bpm last week and needed to be cardioverted in the ER. I was wearing my 3 month follow up holter

A Miracle Has Happened, also a Gentle Warning to Everyone Taking Flecainide
Hi Everyone I used to take 100mg Flecainide alongside 12.5mg of Metoprolol twice daily for many years - perhaps as many as 7 - 10 years. Last August my cardiologist looked at my ECG and said you need to stop taking Flecainide as it looks like that could be causing your problems - tiredness and breathless

Cold medication
Hello, I think I may be coming down with a cold. I seldom get one and usually rely on Beecham hot lemon powders or similar. However I am now on edoxaban and Bisoprolol and I am wondering what cold medication, other than paracetamol, it is safe to take? Thanks in advance, for any advice!

Magnesium Taurate
I know a few of you take Magnesium Taurate and say it works - where do you get this for a decent price that works? I am in NSR but feel the odd beat/flutter every now & then. My usual Multi Vit/Min contains only 29% magnesium & Ive just been put on Furosemide which I’ve read can deplete magnesium (
