Bisoprolol is it really necessary?
I’ve been taking Flecainide 100mg twice a day and Bisoprolol 1.25 mg once a day for years now and every thing has been fine (touch wood) Unfortunately I suffer with Tinnitus and the Bisoprolol sends the volume of it through the roof for hours. I’m seriously considering stopping taking the Bisoprolol

Presistent atrial fibrilation
I had 3 short incidents of AF over 18 months then one 2 weeks after my covid booster at the end of October 2022 which has lasted since mid November to date. So more or less permanently in AF. I privately saw an electrophysist in January who suggested starting amiodarone followed by a cardio version

Hi I am female 57 an ex smoker who uses a vape and need to lose some weight. I recently came back from a long haul holiday and went to GP as I was a bit breathless and thought I may have an embolism. They noted that my heart rate was very high and sent me to hospital. I had an ECG and they told me

Bradycardia Continuing After Reducing Bisoprolol?
Hi everyone, I have posted on the forum before about me potentially being very sensitive to Bisoprolol, after I had to half my 1.25mg dose on the advice of A&E and my GP to see if this would bring my heart rate up which was previously sitting in the low 40s and 50s the majority of the time. This means

bisoprolol
I’ve been taking bisoprolol since October but now am getting bad side effects. About two hours after taking a 2.5 dose am feeling a bit breathless/panting occasionally with a hot feeling and needing to lie down. BP is good with pulse at around 70 bpm. In the absence of ringing a gp it feels the dose

Can Anyone Help?
I’m currently abroad and have ‘spanish tummy’. Anyone know of any reason I can’t take Imodium or Dioralyte with Flecainide/Bisoprolol or Apixaban?

I’m on Edoxaban (blood thinner) Bisoprolol (beta blocker) Chemydur (Isorbide) and a statin. I feel very lethargic in the morning and quite low Not sure which medication is causing this problem as apart from the Isorbide I have only been on the other tablets since March this year. Anyone had similar

DRONEDARONE
Does anyone take this medication? I am supposed to be changing to this from flecainide and Bisoprolol and hating the side effect list already, especially the digestive issues as I’m almost certain to affect me 😤

I’m interested to know if anyone has had mood changes on bisoprolol, since my dose has been upped to 2.5 twice daily I have noticed mood changes as well as my nasal congestion and it’s really getting me down. It could all be other things causing it but I

Bisoprolol and arrhy
hi I am on 2.5mg daily of Bisoprolol. My question is does Bisoprolol reduce episodes of arrhythmia or does it just reduce heart rate? I have paroxysmal AF and GP has recommended increasing the dose to 5mg daily but I am reluctant as I am a runner and my resting heart rate is 45-55 BPM, sometimes lower

Melatonin with AF medication
I’m on Flecainide , bisoprolol for AF plus Apixaban,. Melatonin is supposed to aid sleep , does anyone on the group have experience using melatonin with the above , the pharmacist I’ve spoken to said there shouldn’t be a problem but didn’t sound too reassuring.

Flecainide PIP or PRN re symptoms
Hi all,I am noticing my HR a bit restless right now. 10-15bpm higher than usual. And feeling what think are a number of ectopics. Also accompanied with cest pains. I took a Flecainide 50mg and Bisoprolol 1.25 which has seemed to help V the Bisoprolol alone. Anyone else similar ?
