RLS for 13 years
Hi I'm new here. I have suffered with severe RLS and PLMD for 13 years, diagnosed 2 years ago by a sleep study. I have tried natural remedies, iron and magnesium supplements, copper bracelets, and have been prescribed many medications unsuccessfully including ropinerole, clonazepam, nitrazepam, melatonin

A good rest... How?
For one...I stopped taking statin drugs They only added to the muscle pain especially in my legs that I already had from fibromyalgia. We need that cholesterol for our brains and heart health anyway, some more than others. Plus I have been taking 10mg of melatonin, over the counter...at bedtime, or also

Got Any Sleeping Tips??
Does anyone with IPF have any sleeping tips. I used to sleep upstairs at night but the stairs have become unmanageable. During the day I often slip out to the car - put on the air conditioning and with my portable oxygen machine grab 40 winks (30mins) At night - I sleep upright on the sofa with

4am and still no sleep....again
I posted earlier this week about not sleeping. I stopped my NDT for 2 days to try and get to a little more normal. I felt better in that I was less wired but I still didn't sleep well. However thought I'd better start NDT again yesterday and it's the same all over. Tried a low dose melatonin for first

Is it possible to know if you have Fibromyalgia at 18? Pain relief suggestions for when non-prescription meds don't work anymore?
I'm 18 years old, female, and believe I have some sort of chronic pain disorder. I'm not entirely sure if I do, but all the signs point to yes. My mother and grandmother both had fibromyalgia, as do other members of my family. My grandfather, however, had arthritis and a degenerative spine disorder.

Believe in yourself
Sorry about your bad luck with whatever you were taking Joke. I have experimented myself but am pretty careful. I am going to be talking with a friend of my son's whose wife suffers with severe COPD he uses essential oils and I am going to be talking to him in the near future. I have weaned myself off

What supplements can I take with Levo at the same time?
I know about not taking calcium or iron with Levo but are there any other supplements you should not take with it. If I were to take it at night would it interfere with melatonin or magnesium?

Poor sleep quality
Hi, I've been on pristiq 50mg for 9 weeks now. By far the most troubling side effect is poor sleep. Either I can't fall asleep, stay asleep or my dreams or so whacked out I don't feel rested or all of the above. I take the med in the morning. Melatonin doesn't help. My doc prescribed an antihistamine

For those who do now or have considered supplementing with melatonin to fight advanced PCa, how concerned are you about the association between it and bone fracture? Also, how concerned are you about the relatively high dose implications (20-50 mg daily) for use in advanced PCa compared to the dose of

How much melatonin is too much? I've been taking 5 mg at bedtime but it no longer does the trick.

Melatonin
Hi Would be interested to hear reports on others' experience of using melatonin to help insomnia (I have trouble getting to sleep). And what strength and brands you took? Many thanks
