FINALLY SLEEPING
Two weeks ago I began taking a new sleeper (for me), and, altho at first, there was no noticeable improvement, after continued perseverance, it finally delivered. I have not slept so well for .... ever. It is called Melatonin and I am successfully accomplishing between 7 to 9 hours uninterrupted sleep

NDT and sleep issues
Hi there, I wonder if anyone else has experienced very agitated sleep on WP or any NDT? I was looking through my notes and have seen that I've needed to take something to help me sleep perhaps too regularly. Usually it's Phenergen or Melatonin. I always have Magnesium at night. How do you overcome

I wake up to go to bathroom or something wakes me and once I'm up I start shaking , the I can't fall back asleep- Sleep deprivation is brutal - tried melatonin, sleeping pills , nothing helps- part of the problem is depression, maybe

Melatonin and safety
Every Melatonin product I can see has a warning that it is unsuitable for people with auto immune disorders..like thyroid etc Yet in his book Dr P recommends it. Does anyone have experience of Melatonin good or bad, and would you like to comment on this please...thanks.

Medication to help you sleep
I have been struggling with my sleep and not being able to get a good night's rest. I was prescribed Melatonin and Doxepin to help me sleep. The doxepin I take is 100mgs and it's to strong, I wake up feeling drowsy. I decreased it to 75mgs and it's not enough, waking up in the middle of the night.

Would appreciate advice on peri menopause
I was wondering if anyone has gone through (peri) menopause without any relief whatsoever, no matter what you tried? For the past few months, my symptoms have been getting worse and worse. I will turn 49 in December and periods have gone from being regular to erratic (anything from 21 to 36 days between

Reversal of Cognitive Decline. Food for thought.
This is a study done in 2014 of patients with Alzheimers. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4221920/pdf/aging-06-707.pdf In this study patients were treated with a complete set of complementary therapies. Individually the therapies showed no benefit, but when taken together there appears

Blood results in - not convinced!!
Hello. I posted here approx three months ago detailing all the symptoms I've suffered for over 20 years which I personally have attributed to an untreated thyroid disorder in spite of my useless GP. I finally had private bloods done (Medichecks - cost £169) but am not at all convinced by the veracity

Has anyone got experience of Melatonin and Mangesium for sleep?
Hi I've been reading a book on Alzheimer's. Apparently sleep can become poor with that disorder too. Some folk had a lot of success taking Melatonin and Magnesium. Has anyone here got experience of this please? Thanks Kevin
