Flutter Device
Hello all, Long time no speak!! I was just wondering firstly how you all are?! Secondly, I was just wondering if anyone has ever been given a flutter device from their physio...if you have one of course. If so, how have you found it, has it been better than postural drainage or equally as good?!

At the end of wk 5 podcast, run 3 it suggests doing week 5 again. Is this advice only for those who didn't complete the 3rd run or everyone?
This is the first time I have taken up running in my life, my preferred form of exercise was cycling, but after a tennis elbow
injury
that has to be on a
back
burner for at least another 6 months.

When is the best time to take St johns Wort if I take my thyroxinne 1st thing each morn, ?
Stopped fluoxetine over 12 weeks ago with a graduated reduction. Last 4 weeks have been dire. Got some St johns wort in the hope it will help my anxiety and tearfulness.

Fatigue research
Dear all, just got back from hospital where I was asked if I'd be happy to join research program starting in January looking into whether cognitive behaviour therapy helps with experience of fatigue. I said yes I'll happily get on board. I'm up for anything that will help me, or others.

Walking through the world and not in it!
Now I am
back
I also realised that the
injury
was the one thing that nobody saw. The injury was invisible to the world and made me invisible too. People could see me being unreasonable but did not see the injury that was creating the change in behaviour.

Is anyone else really Emotional ?
I find that I'm extremely emotional, smallest things make me cry. I cannot be around children without having an incredible urge to hold them, care for them, cuddle them, or if a child is taken away from me while holding them etc I get angry :/ I suffer with phantom pregnancy also... :/ is there anything

DLA APPEAL... Please Help
I have my DLA appeal on the 14th October, my original claim was in November 2012 which was turned down.. since then my condition has gotten worst, I now mobilise with 2 sticks over short distances, and in a wheel chair for longer ones. A local charity worked who helped me throughout this process

Back after injury break and all better, hooray!
I pulled a calf muscle while on my first post-graduation run, four weeks and two days ago (doing the Stepping Stone podcast, trying to alter my stride to match 150bpm, possibly won't be doing that one again!). It feels like it's been forever, but I finally managed a 30 minute run yesterday with no discomfort

Daily laughter Tuesday
Even though I felt violently ashamed of the
injury
I’d done
back
then. I bashed that beautiful window. And stepped back in. Every Tuesday morning, I get to go and see My favorite doctor in the world, cause I'm in therapy.

Has anyone started c25k after previously suffering shin splints?
I'm not sure where the line is between pushing myself to progress and pushing myself
back
into an
injury
! Even week 1 60 seconds of running makes me cringe right now :-S

Acceptance
I have been so depressed lately and have had a couple of meltdowns (one at Walmart and one with my Neuro). I decided the most important thing I can do for my emotional well being, in addition to Paxil, is to quit thinking about "what was". I came across this poster and thought it very fitting so I printed
