Seborrheic dermatitis with AMN
I'm told only longterm skin
antibiotics
would ease the situation. The itching drives one crazy, I have to wash my hair daily throughout the hotter months. I also inherited this from my dad although he was never seriously affected by it.

In hospital with asthma
Home care of steroids and
antibiotics
didn't help and I ended up having an asthma attack. I've been in hospital over a week now on a resp ward and it is improving, but so much slower than I want. I feel so scared.

New Year , and I've come down with Strep. Here's some info if you suspect it and need to get tested safely.
The
antibiotics
are only likely to reduce the time with strep by a few days , but they are important to take to reduce the possibility of the strep causing you to develop something nastier like Scarlet Fever , Rheumatic Fever, Reactive Arthritis or Kidney Function problems.

Could see a gp, got to a nurse who at least gave me
antibiotics
hopefully they will kick in soon. The cramps and stomach pain seem to be radiating in all directions I have the chills so bad I am shaking, for the most part cold is a rare complaint...

Suggestions on questions for next steps 🙏🏻
They got me on the right
antibiotics
thankfully and I’ve been doing much better since November time. However I’m still being scanned as it was 5cm still the last time so it is still there. Not sure if there is now fluid in my tube as well which I know can affect implantation.

GCA and respiratory issues?
Hi everyone. I updated my profile to include my most recent flare/infection, but wanted to briefly share that info. with others who may experience respiratory issues with GCA. I had another bad "flare" that began on Feb. 4th at the end of a two week cruise. Again started with a sore throat, then respiratory

Hypothyroid newbie. Horrible sinus cold/strep throat. Can’t take usual Sudafed with levothyroxine. Advice on how to feel better?
He got ten days
antibiotics
. For last few days I feel terrible, fever, sinus pain, blocked nose, sore throat and cough. I would usually take Sudafed and power through. Now I’ve got very anxious in case sinus with thyroid can be dangerous somehow?! Should I go to doctor?

constant feeling wanted to pass urine
The doctor I spoke to via telephone has given me a course a
antibiotics
though a urine test showed no infection. I cannot get another appt until 15 Dec. It is becoming rather unbearable, Wondering if anyone has suffered with this and what was done to relieve it.

We contacted the GP 3 weeks ago with concerns but no
antibiotics
were prescribed. What are other people's experiences of bladder issues in MSA??

ICU 48, trachi weaning and weakness
She is on 3
antibiotics
, they are going to stop 2 as off tonight and the other in a couple days, that will then show if there is still something there if the markers go up again.

should I reduce my Oestrogen gel to one pump a day?
I had a scan on my bladder, urine samples dropped off, thrush treatment and
antibiotics
and nothing helped. The scan showed I don’t empty my bladder fully, but nothing else. My GP agreed to start me on vagifem as I was given Ovestin, but that didn’t help.

When to resume MTX
He prescribed
antibiotics
which I finished yesterday. I still have a bit of a cough, nothing like as bad. Should I resume MTX and see what happens or should I go back to GP? My arthritis seems to be getting worse, a lot more pain, hence the eagerness to take MTX again
