Cough cough cough - Methotrexate?
I’ve gone through a bottle of Kovonia from the local pharmacist; a course of Doxycycline 100mg
antibiotics
from GP1 (telephone consult); a course of Co-Amoxiclav 500/125
antibiotics
from GP2 (face-to face consult); and the cough persists.

Hey everyone Sorry I've not been around much, between sleeping and Mum visiting I've not had a lot of time. Plus I've not got a lot to say I'm still coughing an awful lot but I'm off the IV antibiotic drip and on them orally. V x

Question Dear Group: I was in a car accident last Tuesday, passenger, front seat. No broken bones. Six stitches to laceration on the left forearm that the Emergency Dept doctor said was very deep. Pain above molar teeth that runs across jaw and left side of head.
My dentist never found a problem but gave me
antibiotics
a couple of times in case it was a sinus infection. After a few bouts of the pain I never new if they did anything as the pain always went after the same period of time with or without
antibiotics

From 4 mg of Prednisone to 240mg of Solumedrol.. in 30 hours....
So I'm on solumedrol, two different
antibiotics
three times per day,IV, and breathing treatments every 4 hours. Today is January 1st and I came in on the 28th of December. I'm still wheezing like an orchestra and see a lot of the familiar signs of somebody who takes a lot of steroids!

I expressed my concern that I might get another AF episode before the
antibiotics
fully work, I explained that the max daily dose of Flec is 400mg I couldn’t understand why I shouldnt be able to take it every 24 hours. Does anyone else have a 48hr restriction on their Flec Pip and do you know why?

My understanding is that with
antibiotics
risks can be reduced but still it’s additional risks nonetheless. Not sure how much more shit I can face. Sorry for the rant. Just feeling very fed up! xx

Lung Reduction
I looked forward to retirement and life in our new home, but that wasn't to be as I'd been living with bronchiectasis and emphysema for nine years which had slowly got worse. 2 months after I retied I suddenly got a lung infection and that was it, put on steroids and
antibiotics

Had bells palsy for almost 2 months. Palsy eye has an infection. Used antibiotic gel twice. Healing slowly when indoors applying eye drops frequently and using night ointment. Going outside makes eye super dry. Tried normal glasses...not enough protection. Saw moisture chamber glasses with detachable

She is on 3
antibiotics
, they are going to stop 2 as off tonight and the other in a couple days, that will then show if there is still something there if the markers go up again.

Any connections between bibasilar atelectasis, autoimmune diseases, Covid infections and/or Covid vaccinations?
I also had a chest infection in Nov this year, after the CT scan and it was treated with
antibiotics
. Regarding Covid jabs, I’ve had 4 to date - 2 very bad reactions (one allergic reaction with AZ and one neurological one with Pfizer, which is still being investigated.)

Advice pleaae
Since I have had a dry tickle in the throat cough (6 weeks) Saw my doctor on Monday who checked my lungs which sound clear, he’s given my
antibiotics
/steroids and an inhaler. He’s always sending me for a chest scan but warned that may be about 20weeks.

Spotting, faint lines and cramping - the usual 2ww dramas
I found out yesterday I also have a uti which I need
antibiotics
for. I did a FRER and it’s the same consistent faint line. I’m thinking this might be a chemical but obviously still holding out a little hope - it’s not over till it’s over!!! Anyone had a similar experience?

In the past I took
antibiotics
and predizone during copd flare ups.. Now I use trelegy inhaler.. Anyone out there with issues like mine.. I am beginning to think I should take a drug to throw off the effects of lepton. My Gleason scale number was 8 from biopsies..

GCA and respiratory issues?
Hi everyone. I updated my profile to include my most recent flare/infection, but wanted to briefly share that info. with others who may experience respiratory issues with GCA.
