Sorry I've not been around much, between sleeping and Mum visiting I've not had a lot of time. Plus I've not got a lot to say

I'm still coughing an awful lot but I'm off the IV antibiotic drip and on them orally.

It’s normal for a dry cough to linger even after an infection subsides. The good thing is you were responding to the antibiotics via IV and they must be doing regular bloods to check your infection markers anyway hence, why they’ve taken you off the IV and put you on oral antibiotics.

I hope your oxygen levels are also improving.

Yeah I'm a human pin cushion with the amount of blood that's been taken. Oxygen is improving slightly

I have been thinking about you and was going to message as I had not seem am update but glad you have been with Mum

A positive they have took you of the drip and now you are on oral meds if you are not needing the oxygen mask anymore and it is starting to go back up I can see you maybe getting home very soon

Don't say sorry post when you can and just get better that is all that matters x

Still on oxygen but it's getting there. I don't feel ill anymore so that's an improvement

Mum was here for a while. She want and I feel straight to sleep,

Are you managing to wean of the oxygen though I know when I was starting to get better they would encourage me to try and see how long I could go without it

What about your levels are they starting to go back up ?

Asthma Nurse might come round if not already they changed my inhalers that helped when I got home

Your Mum is a good one despite her been fussy she will have been so worried so I bet she is feeling a little better now seeing you slowly getting there

This is the last time on and upwards after this you certainly so not do things in half measures do you

Yeah I've been off the oxygen for a bit today. Levels are slowly going up. Around 85/86 today. I haven't seen asthma nurse yet but I'm expecting them 😃

Mum is a good one when she's not fussing over me, she's a pain but I wouldn't change her.

I will do my very best not to stay again. If I didn't do things by half measures life would be boring

Morning.Glad to hear you're getrimg plenty of sleep,the body's natural way of healing. Being off the iv is def a step in the right direction too so hopefully you keep heading that way x

Poor thing Valentina, I do feel sorry for you. Please stay in hospital another day, they won't keep you unless they believe you need to be there. They do their best ro get rid of people 🤷‍♂️🤣. Otherwise, big breaths should help.
