if you really have increased pressures in your PF Botox might work. Takes 3 days and if helps May need to be repeated afterwards. Stim probably made things worse? If that doesn’t work ? Duloxitine worth a try. Presumably a prolapse has been excluded??
I have been getting botox treatments quarterly since August 2010. They relax my pelvic floor enough so that I can do things. I did levator ani syndrome in the beginning and it was the first diagnosis to clear. Botox paralyzes the muscles to degrees (they still work- dose dependent). Which in turn causes the nerves to calm down. Muscles and nerves work together. In the beginning I would get "flares", but that was while I still had mesh left in my body. I have had numerous surgeries getting it out and it was what caused all my pelvic floor issues in the first place. I also get chronic UTI's. And have had the stimulator. I have found the most pain relief from pulsed radiofrequency ablation of mt pudendal nerve (also damaged by mesh). You can see if they do that on that area. The suppositories worked somewhat, but never came close to removing pain, just making it more tolerable. Mine had baclofen, Valium and lidocaine. If you get severe urethra pain with your UTI's I recommend B&O's. They are the only med that touches that pain. However, they are now becoming very hard to get. I am sorry for your suffering - I know it is miserable.
