Steroids problems
Last Friday I spoke to our respiratory nurse and explained I'd been fighting for breath and had used my SOS
antibiotics
. She told me to take the SOS Prednisilone as well.

Panicking!
Scan revealed the PEG (jejunal) had lost the inner extension, so feed was entering wrong area, causing aspiration.. feed was stopped, more
antibiotics
and finally chest is clearing!....great.By Monday he will have had no food for a week, just fluids IV.

Neutrophils (again)
I am on
antibiotics
for either an infection or a virus (no swab) I appear to have picked up - could that be the reason? Thanks also for posts with tips for a neutropenic diet. Always good to be reminded of what precautions we need to take.

Kidney failure?
Hello, I have traction bronchiectasis and I am really worried everytime I take
antibiotics
when i have my exacerbation because it feels that my kidney is affected. I have already my maintenance which is called dilatair (bronchodilator). I am taking it twice a day morning and evening.

I have a chest infection and also have to take
antibiotics
for 5 days also. I’ve gone through posts with this subject and can see some people have been on it for years. Am I likely to suffer side effects with 5 days use. thank you 😊

Small cell vasculitis and epidermis demostosis
Treatment initially was
antibiotics
and suspect strep infection. And then as it kept reappearing and visits to dermatology put down as vasculitis caused by covid vaccine of which I still don't really buy into.

Have you been misdiagnosed? I might have been.
I have started on an intensive healing process of
antibiotics
and antifungal‘s. My naturopath says I should be free of all Lyme symptoms in 4 to 6 months. Will all of my Parkinson’s symptoms go away? It’s certainly possible.

I feel awful for feeling rough when my husband has been suddenly ill with infection and had to go to a&e last weekend. He's had iv antibiotic over a few days and having further investigation when he feels better. As the days have gone on and I have had to do everything including walking the dog twice

What is the likely hood of becoming immune to antibioticsl?
There are only about a handful of iv
antibiotics
used for Cystic Fibrosis infections and infections of people w Bronchiectasis like me. I am now having back to back lung infections of Pseudomonas, Ralston Picketti and many more.

Questions about experience with rinvoq
Have had to stop rinvoq a few times lately due to infections, this last time I stopped rinvoq for ear infection for 5 days. The infection has not cleared up so they're giving me another antibiotic for 10 days. I was just wondering if most people have a flare when stopping rinvoq for that length of

Finally some progress
Doctors kept saying it was due to the
antibiotics
that had been used. And it would get better. I will say in January 2020, a CT done of her Chest/Abd showed a normal liver, and her LFTs were normal except for AST which was raised due to the pneumonia.

A tunnelling ulcer in Sweet's syndrome after chemotherapy
- Initially misdiagnosed as infection, but didn't respond to
antibiotics
. - Skin rash developed into crater-like ulcer and abscess. The ulcer was a sinus tract ulcer or tunnelling ulcer. Normally, Sweet's syndrome doesn't affect the tissues below the dermal skin layer.
