Nose sore from 02
Hi all. I have had a nose sore in my right nostril for 2 years now. Has a scab that hurts and is hard to remove. I tried an antibiotic the ENT gave me for over a year never helped. I've got a little bit of Vaseline in it right now. I have my cannula off for just a bit. Can't leave it off for long. But

is this likely to be late radiation damage? Blood in urine.
GP has given me
antibiotics
to kick things off and then in a few days will do more referrals as required depending on what symptoms are left. Obviously I firstly assumed I had bladder mets.

UTI infection
I have a UTI infection and so far two
antibiotics
have not worked, and I am allergic to most other kinds. I assume this shows how my immune system is not working well now thanks to prednisone and Kevzara and that an infection is what will finish me off rather than the PMR.

I figured out how to tolerate antibiotics (trimethoprim in this case) without huge neuropathic pain flare!! (for real this time!)
:) I had tried the combiation of Benfotiamine, B12, methyl folate, NAC, and ALCAR prior to R-ALA but it did not prevent the neuropathic pain with
antibiotics
or Hiprex.

Whilst some
antibiotics
gave temporary relief, nothing resolved the deafness. Thinking the issue was an impacted tooth, I saw my dentist who did an orthopanograph. No my teeth were fine. She then stuck her finger in my mouth and wedged it up next to my top right teeth and pushed upwards.

I have also been on two 6 day course of
Antibiotics
over the last two weeks. My GP was not sure whether it was another Virus Infection, or a Bacterial one. 'Sputum' tests were negative, so at the moment, she had given me a 'Backup' higher dose if I need it at the weekends.

Pneumonia
It turns out that I thought my extreme fatigue was due to having tapered to 4 mg, that I have pneumonia. So I have been on an antibiotic for two days and am much better. I had a cough but no fever but it was not improving so finally my dr did a chest xray. He told me to stay at 4 mg for the rest of

No more that 7 days between
antibiotics
. She’s now on a prophylactic dose of trimethoprim and STILL they come back with in a week. It’s taking its toll on the whole family now. Has anyone had this? What was the outcome?

How long can a asthma episode last?
She had 10 days of steroids and 10 days of
antibiotics
for a chest infection. As you can imagine she is shacking. We have been to the doctors twice, oxygen level been good at 97. I mentioned if they just gave her a NEB the wheeze would go but as we all know they don’t give NEBS anymore 🙄

Prostatitis advice
He took saw palmetto for a few weeks before this current course of
antibiotics
which seemed to improve flow a little some days, but not consistently. We're in the UK. PSA over the year has varied between 5 and 10, and the last test a couple of months ago was around 7.

reduced mobility
As soon as he was on
antibiotics
his walk with the frame would improve. Now he has no catheter and no infection his mobility suddenly reduced. His legs become wobbly and can’t put any weight on them. He just crumbles down after a few draggy steps. He is ok otherwise.
