Antibiotics before Biopsy
Does anyone have information about the use of antibiotic prophylaxis before a transrectal biopsy? I've read that e-coli is now resistant to fluoroquinolones (e.g., Cipro).

chest infection
I have not contacted my GP and don't really want to take
antibiotics
. My question is though, can my body actually fight this on its own? I don't want it to linger for weeks and weeks so maybe knocking it on the head with
antibiotics
will do the trick.

Impossible task of timing thyroid meds with antibiotics, supplements and meals. Advice please!
My other problem now is necessary
antibiotics
. It seems I should take supplements two hours after
antibiotics
and at least six hours before. Given that I also need to take the
antibiotics
at the beginning of a meal, I can’t see how this is going to work.

PID abcess laposcopy adhesiolysis
In the meantime i was given x3 different
antibiotics
, and referred for a laposcopy. In total this time i have been on x3
antibiotics
for 46 days. I have further follow appointments and I am crossing my fingers it never returns. Why are so many women being given such a short course of
antibiotics
.

Antibiotics and Increasing B12
I just got over a long bout with covid and am now on
antibiotics
(ceftin) for an ear infection (caused by covid). I've noticed since I began ceftin (8 days ago) that I'm experiencing fingers and toes tingling. Do you know if
antibiotics
can cause b12 depletion?

Feels like things are taking forever
That cleared after
antibiotics
but pushed things by a month. After my hysteroscopy the biopsy results showed endometritis, so needed another round of
antibiotics
. That was another 6 weeks or so before I finished
antibiotics
and got to the right time during my cycle to get retested.

Pneumocystis pneumonia - PCP

Cancel FET due to ear infection?
So my question is, do I tell my clinic that I’ve had an ear infection and
antibiotics
and risk them cancelling my transfer or should I not mention it? From my research I can’t find anything that says I shouldn’t have
antibiotics
before my transfer or that it affects implantation/ outcomes.

Worse after an UTI and Covid
Whilst I had the UTI and Covid I didn't have an increase in PMR symptoms but from a week ago (the day after I finished the third course of
antibiotics
) I've been feeling worse. Prior to this I'd been feeling really well for a few weeks and had been thinking of tapering again.

Lung function test
I had to postpone the first one as I was taking
antibiotics
. However, I now have pain when I breathe in on my right side. I don’t want to take more
antibiotics
until I’ve had the test but I’m worried that it will really hurt.

A reply to Wasabigirl’s post about PID (?) which has since been deleted
Over the years they tried steroids, painkillers, gaslighting me, but the only thing that has ever made a difference is
antibiotics
. Now I’m doing very well on long term
antibiotics
. Just be aware of the muscles of the lower pelvis.

Teva being issued in Hillcross boxes!
I’ve had a few health issues since I got them, chest infection and a course of steroids and
antibiotics
and a bout of AFib so I took my eye off the ball. I had IBS symptoms for 2 weeks and put it down to
antibiotics
