I had a scan for a FET this morning and everything is looking good. Plan is to trigger tomorrow with transfer next Friday.
Over the last week I’ve had quite a bad cold and this morning I woke up with ear ache. I mentioned this at the clinic this morning and they said a cold was ok but that if I had an ear infection they would have to cancel my transfer. I’ve subsequently seen a gp and I do have a slight infection and have been prescribed antibiotics. The gp didn’t see a reason why my transfer couldn’t go ahead because my ear infection will likely clear in a couple of days.
So my question is, do I tell my clinic that I’ve had an ear infection and antibiotics and risk them cancelling my transfer or should I not mention it? From my research I can’t find anything that says I shouldn’t have antibiotics before my transfer or that it affects implantation/ outcomes. I’m not feeling 100% at the moment but I’m sure I’ll be absolutely fine in a weeks time.
I would welcome any advice on what others would do! Xx
