I ran on Monday ( very cold)and managed 3k but today I wanted to do a bit more if possible. Stupidly I didn’t check the weather forecast I just glanced out the window and thought “the

Migraine link?
My partner has had migraine for years and when we got together he was on 80 mg of amitriptyline a day and still had attacks where he ended up taking a triptan. He is now off the amitriptyline and no worse. He is constantly 'heading off' attacks with a cold cloth and Anadin. Sometimes it works, but often

Pain relief failing - Help!
Hi, I’m new here but it’s been really interesting to read everyone’s posts and know I’m not going through it alone. I had a laparoscopy last June where they excised endometriosis from my pouch of Douglas. I was in agony before, so much so I had to take weeks off work (I’m a primary school teacher)

Anadin Extra
I took 2 Anadin Extra for a headache and it seemed to improve my breathing almost straight away! Do you think I could take 2 a day?

WEEK 7 AND THE JAB
Just completed W7R1 Monday morning and felt fine, so off I went for my Covid jab. A few hours after the jab I'm not feeling so well, mild sore throat and feeling feverish, lucky for me it was my rest day on Tuesday. Did a bit of shopping and some gardening in the morning, then gave up and had some

How we Cope with Our Conditions
I personally have 19 conditions, I have 5 arthritis or rheumatic conditions, so I suffer from constant pain throughout my body, which differs from day today. I have chest pain from osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, chest infections & heart condition. I also suffer from pain in my toes, ankles, knees, hips

Taking Aspirin with Aspirin
Has anyone been given any advice on taking pain relieving Aspirin while also taking 75mg as an anti-coagulant? I know it is a big no-no while on dual medication such as combined Aspirin/Clopedogrel due to it making the blood too thin, but once we are just on 75mg Aspirin for example, does the additional

Curious
Can anyone help me with why different countries treat MPNs so differently? If I am correct USA treat ET with meds as soon as platelets rise over 450 yet in England this is not the case. My PC has been between 800-1180 and just continue with low dose anadin. Thank you 😊

Still no meds!
It has been 3 weeks now and still waiting on my meds - suppose to be starting a new biologic Tofacitinib (?). Right now, I am meds free, relying on paracetamol as well as Anadin joint and inflammation tablets. To date I have been fine, despite the odd flare, but honestly you can’t help but feel

Operation
Hello I went to my osteopath yesterday and he said he wants to refer me to a neurologist for epidural or Operation. I don't want to go along that way. I saw him every two/three weeks but since Easter the pain I had in the leg for sciatica has become burning pain. No medication is helping. I do get asleep
