Hi. Had PMR for over 3 years, at present im on 11mg pred. Last couple of weeks having terrible headaches everday, left side temple worst but can vary from both temples, forehead and deep seated at the back of the neck. Taking Anadin extra does make ut bearable.

You need to take action now, either 111, GP or A&E. GCA is a reality and not be messed with..................get it checked out now.

Hospitals have separate entrances and take precautions. Get moving and take action.

But anadin only takes the edge off? Please see a doctor asap - and that means a 111 call today because you will probably need to go to A&E. GCA can appear at any time, even if you have had PMR for years.

That pattern of headache is very familiar to me. I have been diagnosed with GCA. You need to act to safeguard your sight. Let us know what happens.
