Pain in Low Back, Buttocks, Legs, and Feet
I am on Oxycontin ER, morphine ER and IR,
amitriptyline
, baclofen, and duloxitine. The MRI's say I have a little arthritis, moderate L4-5 lateral recess stenosis, maybe a tiny tear there, a bone spur on my tailbone, but nothing that makes them stand back in shock.

My GP prescribed
Amitriptyline
and gave me a leaflet telling me there is no cure and he doesn't know why or how I got to this point. To tell I felt heart broken would be an understatement.

Migraine medication - topiramate
Hello, I am wondering if anyone has any advice on tablets - I am currently on
amitriptyline
for migraine. I was on Candesartan before but came off that due to it no longer being effective. They are now discussing putting me on propranolol or topiramate. Has anyone used these before?

Medications to manage neuropathic pain
So far this year, I've tried gabapentin (titrated up to 450 mg),
amitriptyline
(titrated up to 150 mg), and duloxetine (currently taking 60 mg daily). None were effective at noticeably reducing nerve pain.

Happy Saturday😊
I went to the doctor and he prescribed the medicine
amitriptyline
. I did not start treatment for fear of side effects, especially I'm afraid of being drug dependent. I wonder, who is taking
amitriptyline
, what is the experience with the use of this medicine? I appreciate the answer.

Tired!!
My doc gave me
Amitriptyline
10mg at night and ive had them for 7 weeks now. My mood hasnt changed at all and sleep to me is worse and the feeling in the morning of groggyness and a 10 pint hangover is too much for me. I got to bed at 11pm last night and haven't slept a wink.

Anxiety controlling everything.
Every morning I will wake up with a huge dull headache and dizziness that I can't control without taking an extra
Amitriptyline
with the Duloxetine dose.

First appointment at Bath, Lupus Centre of Excellence
At the end of the consultation, we agreed on a plan of action that included increasing my Losartan to see if it would help prevent the formation of new chilblains and increasing the
Amitriptyline
, titrating it upwards from my current 10mg to help numb the night pain of vasodilation/erythromelalgia.

2 Q's: Elavil and Food Intolerance
First, I have been on Elovil (
amitriptyline
) for over a month for pelvic pain and PP related depression. I am still no where near adapted to it in regards to sleep. I am incapable of waking up unless I have 11-12 hours of sleep.

Recently diagnosed, halfway through treatment
I should mention that during all this time I had pain in my right foot, sometimes quite searing, and for this I had a mixture of painkillers - paracetamol, gabapentin, codeine,
amitriptyline
(at night) and oromorph.

Hello, I started getting bad nerve pain diagnosed as vulvldynia about 4 years ago...was put on

Hi Everybody, On top of the many other drugs I take, my Rheumatologist has now put me on
Amitriptyline
. I have seen quite a few people here mention this so can anyone tell me if they have found it helpful or experienced any side effects please.

Confused about anxiety, depression and Lyrica.
I thought I was a lost cause as regards to antidepressants, asSSRIs are used for anxiety and severe PMS, I'd tried 2 SSRIs,
amitriptyline
, mirtazapine, duloxetine and venlafaxine!🙄 with no joy. But the Lyrica really seems to be helping.

Naturopath?
On the plus side, as long as I take the
Amitriptyline
approx.12 hrs before I need to wake up the next morning, dragging myself out of bed isn't as bad as it was prior. I am also taking magnesium and vitamin B supplements as well.

1 Week on and anxiety has kicked in
I just cat nap throughout the night, I am taking
Amitriptyline
25mg before I go to bed but this doesn't make me sleepy or reduce the tone volume in my head. I'm googled out on looking for miracle cures and have downloaded endless Apps.

Results say borderline hypothyroid
I have been taking naproxen omeprazole, zapping and
amitriptyline
for this. I was already taking bisoprolol fumarate for high blood pressure. I have had Rosacea for a long time too and now get tinnitus since taking meds for pain.

Todays menu, calories, football tickets & a hospital visit....
Recently prescribed
Amitriptyline
(10mg) which is also used for depression - but it works well on nerve pain and also zonks me out enough to allow me to sleep through the night.... I had an x-ray taken of my pelvis, which I was able to look at alongside the specialists.
