Hello,
I am wondering if anyone has any advice on tablets - I am currently on amitriptyline for migraine. I was on Candesartan before but came off that due to it no longer being effective. They are now discussing putting me on propranolol or topiramate.
Has anyone used these before? Which path would you recommend?

I use both, 10 mg. amytryptiline in evening and 20 mg. propranolol in morning and it works great for me! Each by themselves didn't work but together they work great; for me anyway! Hope that helps!
I have been on all of those meds. Like you, Candesartan stopped being effective after a few months. Propranolol did help but my doctor put the dose up too rapidly and I had side effects and stopped taking it. I would definitely try Propranolol again though. Amitriptyline makes me too groggy through the day so I can't take it. We are all different in how we react to meds, so I hope that you do well on yours. Best of luck.

Yes I use that as a preventive but I need something when I get the headache it last for 3 days, sumatriptan sprays are great but insurance doesn't want to pay , zomatriptan is $34 for : stupid pills because of insurance 😡
