Where to from here?

Depression is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain, rather than circumstances we often believe is the case. I had

Where to from here ?
As someone who has previously proffered advice, on this occasion I need some from you guys. I have longstanding acute pain issues, spanning the last 11 years. Following two serious car accidents, the pain across my limbs increased significantly over time and I went from the maximum doses of Tramadol

My consultant has taken me off warfarin.
All my blood tests have been negative and he cannot understand why i was put on them. I am being tested every 4 weeks so he can keep an eye on me. He has also prescribed me Amitriptyline to help with headaches. I am quite concerned as they are antidepressants and I don't want to go back to using them

I have been suffering for 6 years now chronic pain which started in my left shoulder so severe I stopped swimming. The pain and stiffness gradually worsened over the years moving to my legs to point where I couldn't

First Ever Post - Just need to rant right now!
So, I had a pretty good day today - I managed to spend some quality time with my husband doing bits and pieces to our car and managed to catch up with my oldest friends for the first time since February- until this evening and now I've got that nagging pain in my lower back and right side. Just a bit

Non-stop nerve pain - something wrong with mirena?
Hi all. It's been a while since I have posted here. A year ago, I had the mirena coil fitted in an attempt to treat my endo. After about 6 months, it started helping. However a month after it was fitted I developed nerve pain in my pelvis, horrible pain that feels like electricity and makes me feel

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 11 years ago, my doctor told me that not all physicians see this as a genuine medical condition and I was pretty much told that 'there's nothing we can do' and was sent on my way with amitriptyline, (which had no effect) I had learnt to live with this and crack on with

IBS and increasing anxiety
First post, am 45 been an ibs-d sufferer for as long as I can remember. Controlled by immodium/loperamide for many years. Recently my anxiety regarding an attack, which then subsequently causes an attack, is getting out of control. Soo depressed about it, just started the FODMAP diet and have felt great

GON?
Hi everyone :) I've been on and off medication for the last 2 years, tried Migraleve, Pizotifen, PropranololTopiramate, Amitriptyline, Nortriptyline and thats not all of them :/ I'm still in school and since my exams are next week, I've stopped taking the medication because of the nasty side effects.

Amitriptyline
Hi all, my story so far. I have been experiencing what my doctor suspects is Raynaud's. Deathly white fingers and toes. Along with this I am suffering with joint, muscle and bone pain, pretty much all over my body. I had a burning pain in my hips and was prescribed Reliflex, which didn't really help

Anyone had Greater Occipital Nerve Block for Migraine??
I'm due to try this in June as having a terrible time with my migraines and having to come off my Topiramate and Amitriptyline as I am TTC. Has anyone has a GON? Has it been effective? How painful was it? Any info and advice would be amazing thanks. Amanda x

Further to my post"looking for advice" 12 days ago
I at last got to see my GP today about the problems I have been having with my legs. He examined me and came to the conclusion that the nerves nearest the skin are dying and causing the pain etc. He told me that this was related to my diabetic condition to which I was very surprised. He told me the name
