Recent Fibro “diagnosis”
hey friends, After years and years of back and forth, a rheumatology physiotherapist at the IMSK clinic has come to the conclusion that I “most likely have fibromyalgia”. He came to this conclusion on our first meeting with no physical examination done at all. My rheumatologist has said it’s probable

The mother of all flares!
I have been having my worst flare ever in the 10 plus years of PMR. I have increased pred to 22.5 from 11 mgs and it is still not yet fully under control. I wish I had increased my dose more quickly but I had no idea it was this bad. I don't usually have blood tests for CRP but this week it was 43 and

weird symptoms from clonazepam
I was recently on Mirtazapine and gabapentin probably off now for over 10 days. The withdrawing from the Mirtazapine was horrible so my psychiatrist recommended I take the gabapentin. I did that for two weeks and became very constipated and had to urinate a lot so I tapered off. I tried Amitriptyline

imodium and buscopan
hey guys just wanted some general advice on taking imodium as well as buscopan? Imodium for the diarrhea and then buscopan for the cramps? (I am also on Amitriptyline 10mg) would all these together be too much? I seem to manage the diarrhea but recently I am getting more cramps too which don’t subside

TIGHT NECK MUSCLES AND DIZZINESS
Hi, I have fibromyalgia and have recently developed tight neck muscles. I also suffer from spondylitis and arthritis. I visit an osteopath weekly and ho does dry needling and massage which does help. When the neck muscles are very tight I also seem to get IBS, Gerd, sinus problems and a zonked out

Tips for living with endo & fibromyalgia?
Wondering if anyone has any tips on how to live with both! I’m going through the process of getting diagnosed with fibro (although it is very likely as it runs in my family) and I am looking for some advise on how to manage the pain. Seems like my endo pain is setting off fibro flares too 🙃 I am in

Confused and Worried!
Hi all. Apologies in advance if i ramble, i haven't been on a forum before! Ive suffered with lots of different symptoms for most of my adult life, have been backwards & forwards to my GP with no outcome or assistance. This changed this year. I contracted Covid and ended up off work from Feb to July

I am a 71 yo male with PAF / exercise induced AF, which doesn’t overly affect me too much. I am fairly active and a regular cyclist. Recently I have been suffering with a trapped > irritated Femoral Nerve in my Left leg. This is quite painful at times and keeps me awake at night. I have been attending

Amitriptyline problems? Withdrawal symptoms.
Hi all, I was put on 10mg amitriptyline due to sciatica. I was roughly on them for 4.5 months. In the beginning they were great. I felt they worked really quickly and took away pretty much all pain. I was suffering a lot before. I started to develop dry mouth and they were knocking me out at night

Amitriptyline and depression
I had been on Amitriptyline for a few years, gradually having to increase the dose for it to work efficiently. Recently, due to getting sciatica or (so the doc thought), she changed my Amitriptyline to Gabapentin, as that was supposed to help the sciatica as well as the fibro. Well it did nothing to
