Hi, new here,I have been on Amitriptyline 50mg since diagnosis for fibromyalgia in 2018. it worked but has now since become less helpful. I had a bad flare up in august and the doctor changed me on to Pregabalin 100mg which are still beginning to kick in but am still having trouble sleeping at night. also have started to have to go to the loo to pee about 3-4 times a night is this is the usual symptons with Pregabalin. Has anyone else had this? Hope you can help?

Hi Slippery59,I tried pregabalin but came off it due to side effects. It seemed to make my foggy moments worse and also gave me a slight speech issue. I also put on weight which I've now thankfully managed to lose again. As for the loo issue...I also do this a few times a night but on and off the pregab, so put it down to fibro.
Hi I'm on pregabalin 300mg twice a day. It doesn't make me pee, so I'm doubtful that's why your peeing more, but then again everyone gets different side effects. Hope they work for you. They did destroy parts of my memory and that was before fibro now with fibro fog my memory is not good! Xx
I have Bladder Pain Syndrome which I understand is a comordidity of fibro so I wake up frequently in the night to wee. But I didn't have this problem when I was on Pregablin. Similarly with Allthatflowers it made me put on weight and gave me a ferocious apetite. Which I found quite alarming, wouldn't go back on it now for that reason.
