Early Retirement from Work.
Morning Everyone. I have recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia/chronic pain syndrome. It has taken 4 years to get to this point as I also have spinal degeneration in my neck and lower back which was clouding the symptoms of the fibromyalgia. I had a spinal fusion on C4 C5 & C6 C7 last August but

Diagnosis
My GP did a questionnaire about fibro with me and it stated that I have a definite diagnosis of fibro and hes referring me to a Muscoskeletal specialist. I'm on amitriptyline 50mg each night but I still wake up in severe pain. My GP didn't really tell me much and I forgot to ask because I'm so tired

Betaine HCL
I am actually experimenting with Betaine HCL and have just been taking it for a few days. I am taking it for reflux but it seems like it may be giving me more reflux. But it may just be coincidence. I am taking 2 pills 649mg with meals and experiencing reflux about 2 hours later. Is that a sign I don

Consultation today
So I went in for my consultation with the rheumatologist today but when I got there I was told she's gone off sick & will be seen by the new registrar She saw me and stated they wanted to do more bloods as my response to the Pred is not typical to someone with GCA. So I asked her what they think is

Amitriptyline update
Amitriptyline update, you was all correct and the bloody stuff made my RLS/PLMD Worse. Also didn't help my spinal pain at all. My GP has recommended Pregabalin to battle both RLS and Spine pain and my question is does anyone have success with Pregabalin with RLS

I have tried Naproxen, dicyclomine sodium and now I’m on amitriptyline to help me manage my full body chronic pain and chronic fatigue which also seem to not be working

In desperate need of some help regarding laparoscopy surgeon.
This is a very long post so if you don’t read all of it I won’t be offended, maybe read first and last paragraphs for the short(ish) version. My diagnostic laparoscopy is this Thursday and as I outlined in my previous post I have been incredibly nervous about the outcome. I am completely willing to

constipation caused by amitriptyline
I`ve been on amitriptyline for many years for different reasons. Due to a period of insomnia I recently had to increase it to 75 mgs which made my IBS-C much worse. I am slowly reducing the dose and am now back to 50mgs and aiming to reduce further - but the constipation is still bad. I`m taking fybogel
