Looking for some help and advise ( Hashimoto's )
Hi all! I would like to share my story to see if you could shed some light. I’ll try to be as brief as possible! I’m 38 and I've been suffering from Hashimoto's for 15 years and half of them I was on a wrong medication / not well diagnosed. 2 years ago, I found a good medical herbalist that helped me

Pain and pregabalin
I’m starting back on pregabalin 75 mg I stopped before as I was worried about the side effects as I have read on one site that you need to keep upping it and that you have memory loss and sight problems but at the moment it does seem the best one for my nerve pain relief along with 10 mg amitriptyline

Pernicious anaemia and fibromyalgia
It’s been a while since I’ve been on here, life has a funny habit of getting in the way! What can I say, I went for my rheumatologist appointment. Apparently I’ve also got fibromyalgia - I’m not convinced. I think it’s generally an umbrella term for “you’re in pain and we don’t know why”. They sent

If Betaine HCL is derived from Beets...
Would eating beetroot with meals help with digestion? I was just curious after reading something in an article about it. 🤔

Fibro and pregabalin and amitriptyline
Hello, I have just found this site, and what an eye opener. I have had fibromyalgia and other health issues for a long time and got diagnosed in 2012. After years of going to the doctors and lots of tests. I was put on amitriptyline when I was diagnosed. I was then put on gabapentin. I was taken off

RLS, PLMD, and Essential Tremors
I have been diagnosed with all three neurological disorders and have learned several things that might be helpful to other sufferers.: 1. These are neurological disorders and are best treated by neurologists. Most GP’s and PCP’s are not current on best practices for treatment of neurological disorders

Liver tests
I have had 3 liver tests over the past 6 months and 2 out of 3 were on the high side with the 2nd one reading as Satisfactory. I'm also suffering from raised blood pressure reading 144/95 consistently. I'm currently taking Amitriptyline 10mg per night as I suffer anxiety and sometimes have sleep problems

Really unsettled by consultant change
After several years of trying I finally found a wonderful consultant - Dr Yousef Karim - at Frimley Park Hospital. He's now left the hospital and I've been switched from immunology to rheumatology. My diagnoses is APS with Lupus elements, and PCOS. I'm on Hydroxychloroquine and Aspirin, but I don't

RELIEF FOUND
Hi everyone, This is my own case story. I amazingly found relief to my pain, but have fewer medical problems than many of the people on this site: I am 44 years of age, have always had excruciating periods since the age of 12 years (more painful than labor contractions), and have been through 2 c-sections
