Could Amitriptyline cause vaginal bleeding?
I've been taking Amitriptyline for approx 18 days and have had vaginal bleeding/spotting since being on it (well after about a week into taking them I stopped but bleeding was still minor so continued to help me sleep through pain). I get bad lower right cramps anyway which haven't subsided since taking

Amitriptyline for Fibromyalgia
After several months of slowly lowering my dosages of Gabapentin, Tramadol and Duloxetine I have been put on Amitriptyline. However, I am really not coping with it (started on 10mg and upto 20mg to date). My pain is really bad - but this has been the way all year, probably longer. I'm not sleeping

Coccydynia and Muscle Spasms in Back - Primary Raynaud's
So a little update, I seen a GP about the pains in my back after my private physiotherapist said to ask for a scan to be done as he thought there was something in the bone by my coccyx. I spoke to the GP and she said a scan was not worthwhile and I was to see a NHS physiotherapist they recommended to

Moving On To Another Trial
After a year on weekly Humira injections; I’m switching to Cimzia. Additionally, I inject MTX once a week and take 5 mgs of prednisone. I have 3 types of arthritis: RA, PsA and OA. It is a delayed diagnosis due to a misdiagnosis by a rheumatologist 3 years ago. I also have neurological factors to consider

Has anyone found Amitriptyline helps with PMR pain?
I am about to try and reduce from 5mg of Pd 4.i want to reduce as I am due to have root canal work at the dentist and want to minimise risk of infection. My GP has given me a prescription for 10mg of Amitriptyline twice a day, while I am reducing. Do you think it will help? Grateful for any comments

Bowel symptoms
Hey, In hindsight I always had gynae symptoms but due to lack of knowledge didn't realise. By 2011 these were extreme. Was diagnosed with endo 2012 but think they didn't realise the extent of it. Had laser which now realise is mistake and mirena fitted. Things didn't really improve. In 2014 had another

Claustrophobic, but needing an MRI - high AFP
Hi, I am new to this site, although I've been reading for a wee while. My story is this: Been a drinker since my late teens, (now 59), mainly beer and wine (2 - 4 beers p/day, plus 2 - 4 glasses of wine or 1 - 2 G & T). I have never ever been a "hard alcohol" drinker, or alcohol dependant - the full

Pelvic Pain
I’m 33 and have recently been diagnosed with endo including recto endometriosis. I am really struggling with pelvic pain which I’ve had for years but is getting worse and just won’t go away even after the laparoscopy and removal. I really am at my wits end where it’s starting to affect my life. I wondered

Possible Nerve damage...what do I do?
Okay, so mind the long story, but I'm seriously lost. I went to get a blood draw to find out my blood allergies. A whole problem arised when the needle entered my arm, I felt immediate pain, a burning sensation, an electric shock down my arm, and weakness in the arm. It's almost 4 months down the line

Not depressed - VERY fit- but in pain?
For some reason depression is linked to Fibromyalgia, I am not depressed in fact I have a great life. I am fit and an active walker and participant in life. I have had fibromyalgia for about 12 years and take just 10mg of Amitriptyline of a night, I've managed with pain to some degree but over the years

Long term after effects of viral meningitis
I was diagnosed with VM in April 2011. So 8 years later and I still suffer from daily headaches. Some days are easier than others but I go through "spells" where the headaches get really bad for weeks at a time. I also still suffer from extreme fatigue and now have anxiety. I was on Amitriptyline for
