Well as I said earlier, I am new to fibro. Doc put me on amitriptyline 35mg taken in evening. As well as taking this I am taking pregabalin 100mg twice daily and Co-Codamol 15/500 when needed. But... I take levothyroxine 75mg for an under active thyroid and boy did it and the amitriptyline not mix. I

Help
Hi, I take 60mg of amitriptyline for fibromyalgia and Sulfasalazine for psoriatic arthritis. The amitriptyline has definitely helped with headaches and pins and needles. I still get a lot of pain in my coccyx and I struggle to sit as I end up in agony so I have to lie or sit in an awkward angle as I

Better sleep: 30 wakers & stoppers
I was asked for my list of "20" things that wake me up at night. Or 30... ;-). I had to analyze them to be able to try to start working again... so here goes (this is a public post, so best start a new thread if you want to say something private): Like many, I have to sleep more (+1h = 9h) than before

Unsure what to do
Hi all, newbie here. I've suffered with rls for a number of years, I was on Amitriptyline for a while several years ago but it didn't help. Then about a year ago, my rls seemed to stop apart from when I was really tired at night, sort of a time to go to bed sign. As it stopped once I was going to sleep

Hi brave people, I have just joined this forum and sympathise with those that can't get some relief. The blood to my brain was blocked off on one side for a few hours 12 years ago (Carotid Artery dissection) then 2 years later had meningitis, so my poor brain has had a bit of a bashing. I never had

sudden onset ear fullness and hearing loss
Hi everyone, having a bit of a panic and would like to ask your advice. I'm 52 and have had tinnitus in my left ear for many years. I have noticed over the last few months that I think its starting in my right ear also (hard to tell sometimes). However today I get up feeling fine and then at lunchtime

Should I decrease Levo after first week with t3? Lab results
Had Graves and total total thyroidectomy 2014. Was on 100 Levo and felt ok ( maybe oversubscribed with Tsh 0,5 and t4 always in the upper end) until 2 years ago when I had a lot of stomach issues due to stress and anxiety. Now when I supplement with betaine hcl and digestive enzymes it’s so much better

Nutritional therapist and supplements...
Hi folks I recently went to see a nutritional therapist, as I've started following Isabella Wentz' Hashimotos Protocol but was not sure I was getting the nutritional side of it right. The NT was helpful in this regard, but has also suggested a load more supplements which I'd like to get more opinions

Could my pain and ongoing symptoms be Fibromyalgia?
Hi just looking for some advice/reassurance. Here’s a brief history/symptoms: I have a paternal aunt and great grandmother with fibromyalgia. My biggest pain which has been going on now for months has been sore/tender ribs to touch. Mainly right side. Bottom of ribs, going round to side and back.
