Itching all over
Hi There Does anyone know of a reputable doctor/practitioner in Dublin (or elsewhere) who can test for food and chemical sensitivities? i.e. not necessarily the type of allergy that would put you in hospital, but something more subtle that would make you itch all over (no rash) for several days after

Pet allergy
Hi all, I have a question about pet allergy, does anyone know if having lupus/inflammatory Arthritis/Fibro, makes you more sensitive to pets. My inflammation seems to be worse when I am at home with two dogs.

Wheat allergy again!!!
Hi GFGs I'm looking for advice on wheat allergies. I am definitely not Coeliac, but have wheat allergy diagnosed from blood tests. About 7 weeks ago I ate 'GF' bread made by a friend in a bread machine, I think it may have been contaminated by residue from her own bread. I became very ill quickly, pains

Allergies?
I have had a chesty cough since October last year. Initially chest x-rays showed a consolidation and I have had 4 course of antibiotics but a later CT scan was clear. A referral to the hospital specialist has suggested that I probably have asthma now and am using a brown inhaler and measuring my peak

Blood pressure and allergies
Does your blood pressure go up when you have allergic attacks or eat any food that your body does not like. Mine does and it is frightening. No medication either as it makes it go up more. I now cannot have wheat, barley, rye, dairy foods, alcohol, herbs, spices, apples, carrots and so it goes on.

Cat allergy?
My husband has had a dry tickly cough for about 6-8 weeks now which has recently gotten worse and is keeping him awake at night. He went to the doctors last week after a particularly bad night. The Dr examined his chest which was clear and suggested he might have a cat allergy and prescribed antihistamines

Bowel problems caused by food?
Food intolerance is a vast subject but if you suspect food is causing your bowel problems but can't quite work out why - this may help. Delayed reactions and seemingly different reactions to the same foods are all pointers to food intolerance. There are natural chemicals as well as artificial ones

Getting better from years of untreated asthma
Since I was a kid I had some asthma symptoms related to my allergies, which I controlled by staying away from triggers. I also had a few episodes of bronchitis that caused shortness of breath, but they went away with antibiotics after a few days. After I got some minor flu this Christmas, I started

Plume and allergies?
We bought a toy poodle and I think I may be allergic, is this possible even though she's a hypoallergenic dog? It's just whenever I'm near or I'm the same room as her I can't Breath we'll and I have really bad mucas that makes me feel like I'm cloaking.

CT scan with an iodine based contrast medium?
Is this safe for a thyroidian? It looks from the research as if the iodine is potentially a bad idea anyway, but on top of that I have multiple allergies. I’ve never knowingly had a problem with an allergy to iodine, but then I’d never had allergies to anything else before the last eight years. In

Erfa allergy?
Today, I took Benadryl before Erfa for the first time. I have had no itching at all today. Since going on my latest batch of Erfa (30 and 60 mg pills), the itching has been driving me crazy. I take it this means that I am allergic to one of the fillers in (new) Erfa, and need to look for alternatives

Allergies?
I know this isn't really linked to anxiety, but my parents about a week ago bought a toy poodle and since she came home my allergies have been horrible and I've been having troubles breathing. Apperently they are hypoallergenic dogs, but is there anyway I could be allergic ? :/

Nickel and Steroid Allergies
Hi Everyone, Thank you for your feedback regarding my allergies. To be honest, I think everyone should have their allergies checked out, as it's obvious to me that your doctors are not taking these problems serious enough. Quite often the allergy concerning nickel lies in the jewellery we wear and
