Pollution and pollen tracker recommendations
Prompted by the fact that I have a snuffly nose despite starting fexofenadine and Flixonase, and not sure why. Checked on the usually reliable Met Office pollen tracker and it's been down for a few days. Does anyone know good reliable apps for a) pollution b) pollen? I somehow have non-allergic asthma

ANH article ~ Ultra processed food dangers: Why we need to cook more from scratch
21 February 2018 Take a trip through any supermarket and you’re likely to be dazzled and seduced; bombarded by the seemingly unlimited choice of ready-to-eat, drink or plastic-wrapped products. Food manufacturers have mastered their art and know just how to draw us in, pushing foods in their whole state

How do you recover from an accidental glutening?
My grandson (6) is a coeliac with egg and dairy allergies. (Strict gluten free diet). He is very sensitive to gluten, however he does go to parties, and after school activities. He always has his own food, and is careful to wash his hands etc. But sometimes he seems to be glutened. Out of sorts, grumpy

What ingredients in electrode gel are making it so skin reactive and painful?
I'm having same issue of itchy painful bumps, welts and sores from so called "hypoallergenic" gel electrodes with a tens unit. I've tried several brands with same results. Would like to know what ingredients are in gel that causes this allergic reaction. I have no other allergies. Need answers. Thanks

Oxygen and asthma
I have asthma Year round because of allergies. This time last year it seemed really bad. Went to Dr and put on oxygen because I failed 6 min walk test. Later I had a cat scan which showed mild Bronchieactesis. After 4 months I was able to come off oxygen because my PFT's and walk test was much better

Longevity diet or fasting diets
I have severe wheat/gluten intolerance, and also low level wheat allergy. I have had asthma and allergies since early childhood, over the last 3 years the allergies have considerably worsened. I have been reading about fasting as a way of rebooting the immune system and would appreciate opinions in here

Allergic reaction/cortisone?
Hello, today when I was eating a kiwi fruit I suddenly noticed a burning feeling in my mouth, my skin began to itch and flush and I had some difficulty breathing. Could I be allergic to kiwi fruit? I've never had such a reaction before and have no known other allergies. Or could it be that the fruit

Healthy Low Carb ideas needed please
I'm diabetic and I'm looking for some ideas for healthy low carb family meals that all the family will enjoy. There are quite a few food allergies in the family with the main ones being dairy (all types not just lactose intolerant), wheat (not just gluten), beef and some fruits, plus margarine, lamb

Mark Hyman: The Problems with Nutrition Science ~ off topic, but an interesting read as our diet's so important for good TH conversion. :)
Edited to remove book plugs.
The Problems with Nutrition Science
I know you might feel a bit hopeless after the last blog where I explored why we are all so confused about what to eat. The bottom line: we are confused because we hear conflicting scientific reports, our government

Cold, Allergy or non-allergic rhinitis?
How do you tell whether an attack is a cold starting, an allergy attack or non-allergic rhinitis from some other trigger? I had a bad sneezing fit totally out of the blue a few days ago; went on dripping all night. OK the next day, then similar attack next evening. Mild headache. Pollens are very early
