DOG & CAT ALLERGY?
hi all, it's me asking for more advice! My 3 yr old has been doing great for the past two months since starting singulair. Despite ear infection and allergies to 2 anti-biotics he's been fine asthma-wise. NO COUGHING AT-ALL. Then Friday we headed to stay at my in-laws who have 2 dogs. The first night

3rd visit to a&e in 3 months
My son is 3 yrs old and was in a&e on Monday with wheezyness and rapid breathing. He was admitted overnight 4 weeks ago. Doctors reluctant to diagnose asthma although asthma and allergies common in my family. Monday was scary as he fell asleep during nebuliser and was very tired after a sleepless night

Come dine with me is a competition programme on channel 4 - day time viewing ( Yes, I have been watching too much daytime TV) Four contestants cook for each other and they mark each others efforts. OK here are the rules for my new game. 1 - Four people nominate themselves and state their food allergies

Hayfever symptoms in winter?
Little nutter has been suffering with what appears to be like hayfever symptoms lately. Have been treating him with piriton and eye drops. Which does help though thought we'd be getting a break from all this over the winter months. anyone else had this?

Food issues
Do any other parent's notice issues towards food and meal times. My child has suffered with asthma for three years now, but from when he was a baby he had issues towards foods in his mouth and would often gag. After seeing a specialist reflux was ruled out and he was diagnosed with asthma. Although medication

Asthma, excema and hayfever.
Hi all I'm new here and thought i'd tell you a little about myself, and why i'm here. I have Twin boys who are now 7, and they are identical. They both have had excema and food allergies since they were 4 months. At 4 they developed hayfever, which caused breathing difficulties for which they needed

little nutter is 4, this year his hayfever seems particularly bad, he is taking chlorphenamine(perscribed by the gp) took him back to GP who gave him eye drops as his eyes are really bad, though its a fight to get them into him. poor wee soul just ends up lying up on the sofa with a cold flannel

I am glad I found this place and hope to meet others that understand how hard asthma can really be. My 6 year old Katie was diagnosed with chronic brittle asthma 3 years ago. Katie first started having symptoms of asthma when she was 11 months old when she had her first lot of pneumonia. then things

Recently diagnosed - glue ear too
Hi. My 3 year old has recently been diagnosed with asthma. Main/only real symptom being a cough, (until recently) mainly at night. I've identified that house dust mite is a probable trigger, but I think this is not the only one. I feel really lost in trying to work out triggers, I'm sure I will get

To pull myself out fo the blues I am in at the moment I have started planning for what I would like to do once asthma is more controlled. Antihistamines and hangovers
After a pure party trip to spain, my friend told me that allergy meds (antihistamines) made hangovers go away. I am on antihistamines year round due to dust and mold allergies, and allergy induced asthma. I have never had a hangover. Is that because i take allergy meds every day? or do i just not get
