Hayfever
So grateful for the rain... I went for a run on Friday after a full week of forced rest - I did try running once but felt too dizzy - and had to stop after 3 minutes. Has anyone found it difficult to run with hayfever? Any tips? -I try to avoid anti-histamines and am trying the cider vinegar "cure"

Fillers causing allergies
I recently posted regarding feeling unwell on thyroxine and recieved several responses from members having similar problems. The ingriedients that seem to causes the most problems in thyroid medication are Acacia and lactose, which can make allergies alot worse or cause them. I am currently taking Actavis

Diet Change
I have suffered from IBS-D for about a year and a half and in some sort of pain/discomfort all the time (the pain varies from mild to severe) even though I am also having medication but still trying to find the right dosage. I am considering maybe having a trial where I take bread away from my diet to

Severe asthma evolving to something more severe?!?!
Having had severe asthma for a few years I have recently had a severe allergic reaction to peanuts. As I was in the hospital I was outright told it was a anaphalaxis and a nut allergy. I had full body hives and gradually became breathless and very asthmatic the following day (ultimately I had to use

Is it all right to take allergy medicine with levothyroxine?
I have severe upper respiratory allergies, and right now the pollen is making me miserable. I take my thyroxine immediately upon arising and the rest of my morning medicines and supplements with breakfast after arriving at work (about 90 minutes later). Soon after leaving the house, I start coughing.

RECURRENT CHEST INFECTIONS Hello. I'm not sure if anyone can help me?
I'm 28, I have asthma and allergies and have had these since I was in primary school. I've lived with these for years but for the last 10 years I've also had recurrent chest infections, some years more infections than others but always 3 or more. To be honest I'm never entirely sure if an infection has

I have had a cough since February. I have seen the gp and all he has given me is antihistamine and says its allergy issues. I ended up
in A&E he other day as could not stop coughing for 4 hours and could not breathe and vomited also. The hospital done chest X-ray which was clear, they also done blood tests which was fine. They have now given me a brown pump for my asthma to add to the blue pump I am using, they also gave me lanzaprazole

Realising that I have a problem
During the past 8 days I've been signed off work with ""bronchitus"" . I'm increasingly convinced that this is not bronchitus at all but my first bad prolongued asthma experience. None of the things my GP surgery have told me bear any relationship to the pattern of asthma that I experience. I have

Panicking again
Haven't been on in a while, because I guess I've been felling a lot better with my anxiety. Well tonight I'm kind of in a panic...feeling like my throat is a smidge swollen, and I'm laughing cause it feels kind of hard to breathe normal. Its really hot today so maybe that's why its swollen but I can't

I'm a runner woohoo, battle dog by my side and man eating horses avoided. Week 8 Run 1 didn't go so well.
Yes Ferd today is the day, are you ready? Pre warm up walk walk - ummm can't be comfortable cycling with your trousers round your arse, interesting choice of pants and why do these teenagers feel the need to wear their trousers round their arse anyway. So tempted to walk behind them and pull them up
