Food allergy testing
Hi. I was wondering if anyone had tried food allergy testing? There appears to be a couple of different types and although a nutritionalist I saw was not keen on them I am investigating them. I am gluten free and a vegetarian and I have a fight every day with some aspect of my ibs. I can not identify

Prednisalone prescription
Hi all! My peak flows dropped to 50% after a couple of nights of coughing and I was quite short of breath but with no wheeze. I spoke to my asthma nurse on the phone who Said she would ask another nurse to check me over and prescribe pred. The nurse I saw said that because I wasn't wheezing she thought

Actual Food Addiction
The term "food addiction" is thrown around all the time like it's a great excuse to why some people are fat. But what if I told you it's absolutely not an excuse... Ladies and Gents, I'm a food addict. That's why I'm fat. I have a complete love of high fat high sugar food. It gives me a rush of happiness

Are medicinal herbs efficient for hay fever?
I suffer from rather severe hay fever and tablets just don't work, I am getting a bit desperate! I found a blog post about medicinal herbs and how they can help with hay fever, but I'm not sure if that would really work with me - Has anyone tried?

T3 - with food or away from food?
Hi all - This is just a quick question as a prelude to a much longer one (and another rant, I admit).... I am about to try T3 (only) again and have read conflicting instruction re. the timing, as in - as the title says - should it be WITH food or AWAY from food? I have postponed restarting it as I am

Finding out triggers
Hi Can anyone suggest any ways to work out what might be triggering my asthma. There are some things that I know definitely trigger my asthma like smoke, feather duvets/pillows and Christmas trees! I have hay fever which doesn't seem to be much of a problem at the moment as I'm taking hay fever tablets

Best / accurate intolerance test for dairy?
Hi Has anyone used an accurate test for dairy allergy/intolerance? I used York for allergies once and everything I was allergic to was in my meal the night before so very dubious of that. Cyrex do one but we are talking megabucks. Thankyou in advance. Hope the sun is shining where you are too.

Somewhat belated introduction!
I probably should have introduced myself before posting about the woes of my asthma and commenting…sorry :) I am 17yo, biologically female but identify as male. Which kind of sucks but hey, that's life. I have 'hayfever', eczema and asthma (you would never have known that, would you?), and I suffer
