Gemcitabine
Can anyone tell me how difficult Gemcitabine is to cope with please? I may be offered a place on a trial that includes Gemcitabine & a trial drug, & I need to decide whether to go for it or not if they say I'm well enough for it. My cancer doesn't respond well to chemo, & at the moment I'm feeling

Is olive oil bad if under androgen deprivation treatment?
Good day to all, my father is under zoladex and we just had spaghetti that has a generous amount of pure olive oil, not the extra virgin one, so it just made me curious if this could be bad or could it be good? Thanks a lot

Possible Autoimmune hepatitis. Smooth Muscle Antibody detected waiting for appt with specialist. Please help.
Hi All. I recently went to my doctor for some pain I sustained during a work out in my upper right quadrant. He sent me for an ultrasound and it was found I have an enlarged liver at 17.2cm (also fatty liver). He did some autoantibodies/autoimmune bloods and I tested positive for Amooth Muscle Antibodies

Had my vaccine yesterday. I’m on W&W since I was diagnosed February 2020. I feel no one seems to know how much protection we CLLers have????
I had the Oxford vaccine, I have had no side effects which I’m surprised as I normally have a bad reaction to the flu jab painful arm and swollen. I asked the nurse if it would give me any protection with having CLL she said you should have some protection? Any one else have a reaction to the Oxford

Hi - so I saw a dermatologist yesterday because my psoriasis has been horrendous in the last 4 months He said that unfortunately phototherapy treatment is not a good option for me as I be been on steroids so long and so will have photosensitivity and could develop a rash that can be very hard to treat

Hello, I am new here! I will be turning 30 years old within the next few months, which sounds like no big deal except for the fact I feel like when I look back on it all I never really accomplished much or completed much etc. What brought me here and to the conclusion that maybe ADHD played a huge

Anyone realize undiagnosed ADHD may have been the problem your entire life? Were you conditioned to not even question anything was "wrong"?

Hair Loss
I had my transplant in November 2020, almost 4 months ago. I am losing my hair steadily. Not clumps of hair thank goodness but daily loss of single hairs. My hair was strong and thick and now it is becoming very thin. The Hepatologist had told me that it is unlikely to be permanent as I am not losing

Trying another dopamine agonist (yeah, I know....🙁)
I’ve posted here before. I have severe RLS. I was on requip and ambien for several years and augmented on the requip. Took me a year and a half to come off it-had terrible withdrawals. Took klonopin to help come off the last of it. Went on gabapentin 900 mg -still didn’t work with klonopin for help
