Anyone heard of Activated K2
I went searching for K2 to take along with Vitamin D3 and the only thing I found was (Active K2) and researching doesn’t reveal any useful info. Anyone know if Active K2 is better then K2, or really no difference just bigger price tag?

Calcium from food sources
So all in all I would like to ensure I am getting as much calcium as poss from food sources. At the minute I take two Adcal in the morning and two in the evening After looking into it further I wonder if I would cut down to one at each time, or none at all. But then I would be worried I wasn’t getting

Vit D dosage
Hi - I react badly to Adcal so I’m self dosing with vitamin D. I take 1000 iu plus 200 iu in my daily vitamin pill. Is that ok or too much? Advice is so contradictory I thought I’d check this out with people in the same boat! Thanks 👍

Thanks to those who have reached out on my previous post
This time I wanted to bring up that every weekend I’m stuck inside by myself with nothing but TB, video games, my computer etc. I miss seeing friends and going out. This has been a torturous year and a half like this. I feel like this cycle never ends and there is nowhere out. How am I supposed to feel

3 month scan
Hello, my oncologist told me my first 3 month CT scan showed stable. Perhaps it is too early to show Improvement, and I am relieved and thankful that it didnt show worse, but I must admit I was hopeful for a better result. Would you be satisfied with stable at this stage. I have just completed

Accrete D3
Is it ok to cut Accrete D3 tablets in half? I’m thinking 2 tablets a day is too much calcium and 1 isn’t enough so I thought I’d try 1.5 but I’m not sure you’re meant to cut them for some reason.

Best bone supplements
I never know which supplements to take, or which are good. Can anyone recommend? Does anyone take this one? I have osteopenia age 45 through having my ovaries removed post cancer, and am very keen to stop any further bone loss. This forum is amazing, thanks so much for all the posts and advice. :) Rundown

Bad reaction to sublingual b12....
Hi All, After having a bad reaction to the Jarrows 1000mcg sublingual b12 which was an acne and dermatitis related bright red scaly rash over my face, I’ve decided I’m going to give the 50mcg cyanocobalamin tablets a good go to see if they raise my b12 levels. It says on the packet 1-3 a day so I’m thinking

Help with blood test results - taking too much levothyroxine?
Hello, I just got my results back (I'm still waiting for folate) from my latest blood test after starting levothyroxine earlier this year. I wasn't able to get a full thyroid panel (I'm overseas and it's not offered here) but I'm hoping you can give me some advice based on my results. I'm wondering if

Worried about Dad
Hello everyone, I am new to the group and need a bit of advice. My Dad is now 74 and takes statins due to a mild heart attack last year and had a stent put in. He asked me was there any vitamins he could take as his memory is starting to fail him. His older brother is also in a care home from last year

lower back pain and right hip pain especially lying in bed
I had a DEXA scan just over 2 years ago as part of breast cancer treatment. This identified I had osteoporosis in my spine, I'm not sure of the scores or exactly where but I was told my hips are fine. I have had back problems on and off for years but generally with a visit to a chiropractor and exercise

Further Update
Hi Following on from my previous update, I have now had a conversation with my GP regarding my follow up Dexa Scan result and it did not go well. The advice was still to take AA and this was put across very strongly. My GP is very good and I know she has my best interest at heart but I still declined
