Help with blood test results - taking too much levothyroxine?

Hello,

I just got my results back (I'm still waiting for folate) from my latest blood test after starting levothyroxine earlier this year. I wasn't able to get a full thyroid panel (I'm overseas and it's not offered here) but I'm hoping you can give me some advice based on my results. I'm wondering if I'm taking too much levothyroxine?

Most recent results (on 50mcg levo, no levo 24 hours before test)

TSH - 0.079 uIU/ml (0.270 - 4.200)

FT4 - 22.5 pmol/l (12 - 22)

ATPO antibodies - <9 IU/ml (<34)

Vitamin D3 - 42.5 ng/ml (optimal 30 - 50)

B12 - 367.3 pg/ml (191 - 663) - will start taking B12 again as not halfway through range

Ferritin - 73.8 ng/ml (13 - 150) - this is the first time I haven't been at least halfway through range.

Previous results (on 25mcg levo, forgot to leave 24 hours before test)

TSH - 2.16 μIU/mL (0.27 - 4.2)

FT4 - 1.4 ng/dL (0.76 - 1.70)

FT3 -3.84 pg/mL (2.00 - 4.40)

Vitamin D - 24.5 ng/mL (30 - 100) - I started using oral spray after this

Vitamin B12 - 647 pg/mL (197 - 771)

Folate - 14.8 ng/mL (3.89 - 26.8)

I started levo after being diagnosed with likely early stage Hashimoto's based on blood test results and ultrasound. My mother and maternal grandmother both have Hashimoto's

I have been eating a gluten free diet for about 5 months. I also stopped taking the pill in June. My main symptoms before starting levo were heart palpitations, some weight gain and occasional low energy. I feel like my energy levels are good now and I have a lot less heart palpitations, although I still get them occasionally. I have gone down a dress size which I'm really happy about. I'm a healthy weight now, I wouldn't want to lose any more.

I'm just wondering if it looks like I'm on the right dosage or if I'm taking a little too much?

Thank you so much!! I really appreciate any insight you can give me.

Suggest you stay as you are. Improve B12

Perhaps retest in 6 months, or earlier if you feel you need to

Thank you so much for replying! I was thinking the same based on my improved symptoms, but wanted to check seeing as TSH and FT4 are out of range.

Yes, will get back on B12 supplements.
