Does anyone take Rayos for their maintenance of PRM? Also any thoughts on eating an anti- inflammatory diet. Trying to wade through all the info that I have found and come up with an eating plan that helps me to stay as pain free as possible. So far I've noticed that sugar and gluten are big triggers

Does stress affect AF?
I went through extreme stress about two months ago and it seemed to have sent my AF into overdrive. Only now am I feeling 'quiet' which is bliss but I am still experiencing breathlessness. Can AF turn into heart failure? My GP is concerned and arranging a cardiologist appointment to check

Renal parenchyma disease
My fiance has MPO vasculitis. He recently had a kidney biopsy and was diagnosed as having Moderate Echogenic Left Renal Parenchyma. Does anyone know what that is? Is a kidney transplant an option?

pradaxa dose
I am on 75mg twice daily of Pradaxa and noticed that most people are put on 150 mg twice daily. I don't have any renal failure that I know of but have had lots of kidney stones and recently have several lipotripscy procedures to remove them. Didn't realize most people were on 150mg twice daily until

AF again after ablation
AF free for 5 weeks then wham , heart popping away like demented bubble wrap at Christmas . Alivecor and various apps showed heart rate of 135 and suspected AF . Dropped into the surgery to place my arm into the machine and as the paper popped up so did the nurse . Not good she proclaimed , follow me

Zip line advice/opinion
Hi I could use an opinion, OK 65, 18 stone and AFIB, taking Pradaxa and a recent failure on Cardioversion. the temptation to try Flight of the Gibbon zip line in Chiang Mai Thailand is very high for me it looks amazing! We all know that a man's brain is known to move at times and common sense flees

Transplant advice
I was just wondering if any of you have experience a kidney transplant. A friend of mine has been told they need a premtive one. I am just curious how long it will take him to bounce back from the operation and if there is anything I should look out for. It's just a bit scary!!!!

Kidney waiting list
Hi all can anyone tell on average how long we have to wait on the transpalnt list, I am about to start dialysis but like most people hope to have a kidney transplant in the near future. I do have a couple of family members and a couple of friends that have offered to be tested but if they are not a match

My husband has PVD and now has such blocked arteries that he has no pulses in his legs. His heart failure is too severe for him to be considered for surgery but the pain in his legs is horrendous. I can hear him moaning and calling out in pain even as I write this. He has been given a prescription for

The relationship between sweetened beverage consumption and risk of heart failure in men
Story going the rounds of the papers today and, I suspect, over the next days and beyond. Note that there is no reason to assume women are not at least equally affected - simply the research was performed on men. What needs to be appreciated is that this appears to apply regardless of whether the drinks

Convinced I have a heart problem
Hi, 6 months ago my Aunt passed away from heart failure and since then I'm convinced something is wrong with my heart. I have had numerous ECGs, a stress test and 2 chest X-Ray's where nothing was found and plenty of docs have listened with stethoscope. So why am I getting the chest pains, the arm pains

Pulmonary hypertension
When the EP was doing my 4th ablation he discovered evidence of pulmonary hypertension in the left ventricle. I have just seen the 'lung' consultant and have to have tests to find out why as I have never smoked. He said that if untreated it can cause AF and thickening of the heart walls, so maybe it
