Hi Lisa and welcome!!

To find out if there is a group local to you then may I suggest that you look on fmauk.org (the mother website for this group).

If you look at the bottom of the home page you will find a section that lists support groups. Hopefully there will be one that is close to you.

If you have any other questions about anything then you will usually find someone on here who can help answer them.

Everybody is very understanding and helpful xxx

Hello Lisa

Welcome to our wonderful forum 😊 I do hope that you are able to find someone that lives close to you.

It is great to talk to people in person but our group is a fantastic source of fun, information, tips, advice and a place to come sometimes just to vent!

If you would like any help navigating the forum give me a shout. As I said to Claire, it can be a little tricky until you find your way around. Don't worry though, you'll soon get used to it 😊 If you need any help don't hesitate to give me a shout.

I also explained to Claire about locking posts. If you don't lock your post it can be seen on the open internet by anyone and so can all of your replies. It is completely your choice whether or not you want to lock your posts, but you will find that you will get more replies if it's locked.

I will paste below my message how to lock posts. If you get stuck give me a shout.

Wishing you peace and wellness. Lu xx

Please see below some (hopefully!) clear instructions on how to lock your posts:

If you have any other queries please let me know and I will be happy to try to help 😊

To lock a post when you've finished writing it scroll down to the bottom of the blue box and you'll see on the left hand side two options:

o Everyone

o Community

If you click on the Comminity option and this will then lock your post.

If you want to lock a post that you have already put up onto the forum, find your post and again scroll to the bottom of the blue box. You'll see a small downward arrow. Click on that and you will get an Edit option. Click on edit and then select the Community button as above.

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I have pasted you a direct link to the page for groups on the FMA UK site:

fmauk.org/contactsmenu/supp...

I want to genuinely and sincerely wish you all the best of luck with finding a suitable group.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken :)

Hi drew

Thanks for your reply.

I have discovered there is a group that meets 3rd Wednesday of the month in wolverton, so might pop along there when it's next on.

Are you a fibro sufferer?

Hello Lisa,

Yes I also suffer with Fibro. I have been to the group in Wolverton but it was a few years ago.

There is also a group that meets the first Tuesday of the month in the Little Book shop in Great Linford (next to the co-op).

As it is very close to me I am going for the first time next week.

Hope today finds you a little better than yesterday.

Blessings Be

Drew
