However about 8 months ago they stopped working for me. I have had CT scan which was normal, and X-ray which was normal and various blood tests which

Until a coronavirus vaccine is ready, pneumonia vaccines may reduce deaths from COVID-19
« There are two commonly given vaccines – the pneumococcal vaccine and the Hib vaccine – that protect against bacterial pneumonias. These bacteria complicate both influenza and COVID-19, often leading to death. My examination of disease trends and vaccination rates leads me to believe that broader use

First run in the dark - interesting....
Just back from my first properly dark run and I thought I'd share my experience. I live in a tiny village with no street lights so am very used to walking in the dark but this was very different Setting off with my sons head torch on looking like a very bad wannabe miner, I walked out of the village

Differences between thyroid meds
What are the differences between Nature-Throid, NP Thyroid, and Westhroid Pure? I used to take Nature-Throid and it was great for me until it was reformulated. I eventually settled on Thyroid S as a replacement but need to find something else before my supply runs out, and still no sign of it becoming

Government is following Trump regarding Fentanyl
I have been on Fentanyl for 15 years and now my doctor (who has ever seen me in their lives) is trying to reduce my amount. My doctor doesn't know anything about the drug, or why I am on the drug. If he reduces the amount I will be in crippling pain and I will be bed ridden. I am a pensionerand I live

Tyramine, MAO A and MAO B has any one tried a tyramine reduced diet?
I was reading up on MAO inhibitors as the question was asked which is best, an MAO inhibitor or C/L. My husband has had a genetic test and his results say he has lower expression of MAO A and B so I imagine inhibiting it further is probably not a good thing. But reading this it looks like reducing

Has anyone had any success on Clomifene?
Hi everyone. So my wife finally had her operation to check if her tubes are blocked.. I’m pleased to say they were all fine. Our fertility doctor has put her on Clomifene 50mg and she is waiting for a test to make sure it’s the correct dosage. My question is has anyone had any luck falling pregnant

Hello all, Some feedback from my mates on the forum would be appreciated. Since January have lost 2.5 stones (BMI now 30), still dieting. Given up alcohol. Feeling better than I have in years. Went out for a meal last night for my first meal since lockdown having met two old friends. Had a tebone steak

Consolidation Run 6 (W3) Trail Burn
Should have gone out last night but cried off so only 2 runs last week. I know, I know.... Beautiful day here today and decided to combine the first dog walk of the day with my run. I was a bit apprehensive as tried this before and George and Tilly just get way too excited and think it's all a big game

GRADUATED AT LAST ON MY BIRTHDAY!!👊🏃🏻♀️
So after a 10 week break due to a very painful Muscle injury I got back on the road. Today, on my 4th run I completed C25k. To say I am feeling proud is an understatement!! I never thought I’d ever run again but with rest, physio, patience, determination, motivation and the support of my amazing husband

Olaparib question - temperature and feeling rubbish.
Hello ladies. Hope you're all having a good weekend. Looking for a bit of advice. I've been on Olaparib now for five months. For the last two weeks I've felt exhausted, tired and 'not quite right' which I put down to side effects of the tablets. About five days ago I woke in the night shivering and

Don't know if this is IBS
Hi all. I have been having stomach cramps on and off for 6 months, gradually getting worse over the last 2 weeks so made an appt with Doc. I described left sided pain, very low dull achy abdominal pain which goes right through to my back. I take probiotics and use Dulcoease most days so I go to

Third Consolidation Run
Woke up with achy legs and somebody told me to take a couple of aspirin to deal with it and so I did. Amazing, no more achy legs. This was one of those days where my head could easily have sabotaged me but my music and mental strength pulled me through. First 5 minutes felt tough today. Up to 10 minutes

Finished week 4, need a pep talk please!
I am feeling like week 5 is a mountain I can't climb at the moment. 4/2 and 4/3 one of the 5minute runs in both I could barely complete as my legs were burning so much, I was slow jogging as slowly as possible and my breathing was good. This has been the issue every time I've tried to get into running
