hey! I’m 10 weeks post op, I had a few complications, hematoma and infection, bowel issues too as they got endo off there but I’ve just had a scan and the hematoma is nearly gone. I’ve still got pain, and the worst thing is, I can’t fit into my jeans pre op. With my post op complications I had bad

Gonadotropin-releasing hormone injections for pelvic pain
I have to make the decision whether to try these injections to start menopause to see if my pelvic pain is hormonal. I had a Laparoscopy which found my pelvic vessels are conjested but my gynaecologist won't recognise that as the cause of the pain. He said I have to rule out hormones as the cause fully

Second diagnosis of Adenomysis and having a hysterectomy.
Hello to all that reads this...I had surgery last year to remove endometriosis, losing an ovary and fallopian tube. At the time, I was made aware I had endometriosis around the other set. I have continued to be in severe discomfort, even had a coil fitted to apparently relief this. Yesterday, I saw

Anyone out there a vet/vet nurse?
Hi, I have confirmed endometriosis (and until a hysterectomy last year, adenomyosis too). I’m waiting for an MRI to ascertain if there’s anything else postoperatively that can explain the endo-like pain return so quickly and other new symptoms, other than the blanket ‘hyperaesthesia’. My question

Consultant said “get pregnant or have a hysterectomy “
So I’ve had Endo since 2019 and after covid had no option but to have surgery because the pain was unbearable and i do not have a high pain tolerance. I was missing out on so much my career, relationship and social life, it was all I could do to get through each day. After the surgery my pain level

Chronic inflammation round wedge fracture.
Hi all. I am desperate and was wondering whether I could get advice as to why there is chronic inflammation round my wedge fracture. Our medic's have me totally confused as I had a DEXA Scan 2 years ago which showed that I have Osteoporosis in various places having had a hysterectomy when I was 34. 3

Do I have a hysterectomy?
Hi, I’m 38, with DIE. Luckily I’ve had 3 children. I am waiting for excision surgery and a hysterectomy, with possible bowel surgery. I was happy with the decision, until I had zoladex. The add on hrt, caused my migraines to be more frequent, so I stopped it. Obviously I had all the usual side affects

Sigmoid colon stuck to small bowel due to endometrial scarring.
Hi all. I'm 5 years post hysterectomy due to stage 4 endometriosis and adenomyosis leaving ovaries. Visited the gynecologist regarding hrt and whilst there I mentioned that the area where my left ovary is was tender. Long story short, after a mri scan to check endo hadn't returned, it appears that my

Tibolone or sequential hrt?
I had a hysterectomy 5 months ago for Adenomyosis/fibroids. They now think I have Endometriosis as my pain has flared up since starting hrt. I'm on Tibolone but I'm still in so much pain. Has anyone had experience of this and have they found sequential hrt better? I don't think the Tibolone is strong

Try Mirena again or hysterectomy
hello! My life has been upside down for nearly a year now since having debilitating pain from endometriosis and suspected Adenimyosis (although they haven’t been able to see either in an ultrasound). I’ve been on Synarel Gndr medication since March, which has significantly improved my symptoms (although

no cure
I’m pleased to see the post telling everyone about ‘how their endometriosis was cured’ has been taken down. There is NO CURE! Even if you have all diseased tissue removed you still have the disease. Some are lucky and don’t get a reoccurrence of the diseased tissue but for most the disease comes back
