Found creatively helpful to express my pain and emotions.desperately needed to find some comfort and encouragement and found this …..
I’ve had endo my whole life and like most of us here struggled to feel heard, validated and respected. Waiting fir past two years now for a hysterectomy as desperate to try anything that will help my life balance. I found this and been to therapy for the emotional impact of suffering and waiting on

a bit of back story, in 2018 I was diagnosed with fibroids. I had excessive amounts of free fluid in my pelvic area. I had this removed along with some endo and it’s returned. I don’t know what to do. Would a hysterectomy solve it?

atypical hyperplasia
hello all… I had a hysterectomy and very large cyst removed a few weeks ago. My histology came back show atypical hyperplasia. I am now in my second menopause and waiting for hospital to let me know if it’s safe to take estrogen. Wondering if anyone has this and what do you take… Thanks for reading

Dicotyl/docusate and or mebedeverine for bowel issues
Does anyone else use dicotyl/docusate and or mebedeverine for bowel issues? The GP has prescribed them to me and I'm pretty apprehensive about taking more meds on top of the naproxen and omeprazole I'm regularly taking, plus the doxycyclidine and metronidazole antibiotics the hospital sent me home with

Should I expect a face to face follow up after lap surgery?
on the 17th of May I had diagnostic lap surgery. When I came round, the constant that performed the op came and showed me some pictures and chatted to me v briefly. I cannot remember much of the conversation. I was given a discharge letter that listed many issues (stage 4 endo) and a list of things that

More prostasp or hysterectomy?
Just wondered what to expect when I get to the end of my 3months of Prostap I've been prescribed and meet with my consultant again. How will she decide whether to prescribe more or just go ahead with a hysterectomy (which is my preference)? Also, because I'm private am I able to just tell her I want

Advice needed - endo after hysterectomy
Good afternoon, A little bit about me, I had endo symptoms since I was 17, after many years and 7 consultants I finally got diagnosed at 29. I had a hysterectomy at 30, my ovaries were left. For 5 years I seemed fine but I slowly started to get a pressure every month. It was not painful but I knew it

Possible Hysterectomy at 42 as feel everything else hadn’t worked
My first time posting and really sorry for the long post. I have been struggling for the last 13 years, I’ve lost all of my thirties to pain and discomfort. My first laparoscopy and helium beam treatment back in 2011 they detected peritoneal pocketing found in the left uteri- sacral ligament and left

Transitioning to Armour Thyroid
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid at 21 and I've also got Hashimoto's. I recently changed from Levo/T3 to Armour, under the guidance of a lovely private endo, and I'm currently on three and a half grains per day, split into two doses. I wondered if anyone else has had side effects

Hysterectomy and Lung Endo
Just wondered if anyone has had endo removed from their lungs during the hysterectomy surgery? I've been told I need a full hysterectomy including ovaries and they're assuming my bi-lateral pleural thickening is also endo. I'm hoping they'd do both at the same time so that I don't have to have two lots

Right at the start
I’m right at the start of this….went to GP with bloating and constipation 4 weeks ago - he requested blood and FIT tests and referred to gastro as he could feel ‘a lump’ lower on my right side. Gastro consultant took one look at my blood test results and referred me to Gynae Oncology….my CA125 was

Severe nerve pain after hysterectomy
Hello everyone, My mother was recently diagnosed with 3a2 HGSOC. I am still in shock and trying to find more information on this specific sub-stage, as it’s not very common (any reading suggestions are welcome!). I am writing as my mother had a hysterectomy about 4 weeks ago and is about to start chemo

Bowel shaving/resection and hysterectomy. Anyone had surgery for these together in one surgery?
Hi all. I am 46 years old, stage 4 deep infiltrating endo and possibly adenomyosis, had previously an excision surgery to remove chocolate cysts in my 20s. I am due for a hysterectomy, removal of one or both ovaries and a bowel shaving in a months time. I was told there are lots of adhesions between
