hun hysterectomy is not a cure for endometriosis it may help with some pain etc but endo has its on blood supply etc hysterectomy is only really a cure for admemyosis and fibroids endo can still grow as sometimes endo can’t be seen or in places it’s hard to excise . Also I have been told that even after excision surgery you can still suffer pain it can help but you can still be left in pain and it can’t or doesn’t always help. This is what my endometriosis specialist nurse said as she said some people think that it can make the pain stop but unfortunately if endo is in your body’s nerves and the ending of the nerves it can still cause pain . I had excision surgery back in June and unfortunately the pain has come back especially in my hips and I get like a burning pain and cramps and restless legs which is so uncomfortable. That has gone for a while especially when I was put in a medical menopause although it affected my mental health severely it made that pain go away. Unfortunately there is no cure for endo and it can come back after major surgery I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news sometimes it can take months or other times it’s years it just depends when it was growing etc . I know that if you follow a fodmap diet that can help symptoms. I would see if you can ask your gp to refer you to a pain clinic specialist dr and maybe also a pelvic floor physio . This may help some of the discomfort . Also for your body to heal after major surgery it can take six months to a year to recover this is the inside of your body . The out side takes about three months to fully heal but the inside a lot longer as it takes time for it to settle . Hysterectomy can help with the bleeding and clots but as I said it can help pain a little you may have seen some relief to begin with. When are you due to see your surgeon? Maybe see if you can also speak to him with your concerns . Or speak to there secretary x take care x

I am in exactly the same boat as you. I'm 5 months post hysterectomy and my pains returned as soon as I started hrt. I cannot deal without the hrt. I'm now waiting to see a bsge specialist. I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis and a 7cm fibroid. I hope you get some answers 🙏

As long as none of the Endo has been missed ….You might find tackling your pelvic core health helpful to manage some of the pain. Your specialist should be able to refer you. Look at @corerecoverypt and listen to a podcast on @leah-brueg (number 52) with Dr Angie Muller to get a idea of how pelvic core is affected by Endo and hysterectomy.
