I had a hysterectomy 8 years ago. Was advised not to take hormones, so I have been dealing with the symptoms. However, I feel like Im in a tailspin now with out a parachute. My mood is so irratic, I can’t stand myself (on too of all the other symptoms). I have been looking for a specialist but all I get are OBGYN doctors. Do they really understand or is there another specialist who can help? Im at witts end. So tired of feeling bad and having no joy in life.

Why were you advised by to take hormones?

If you can’t stand by yourself….this needs to be investigated..it’s likely to be totally unrelated to menopausal symptoms.

If lack of balance continues to cause concern, make an appointment with a Neurologist, or a Movement Disorder Specialist.

why was you advised not to take hormones?

Do you mean you don’t like your self any more or having trouble standing up.
