Different chemo side effects after surgery
I was diagnosed in March and had 3 cycles of carboplatin/paclitaxel chemo every 3 weeks. I had surgery in June - a hysterectomy and removal of my omentum and cancer cells from my liver and rectum. 18 days ago I had a 4th carbo/pac with 2 further cycles to go before the end of current treatment. So

Anyone had surgery for bowel and womb being stuck together by endometriosis? and ovarian cysts removal? How did it go? Been on zoladex for 10months now after my 12 I’m having a Mirena coil fitted. Then back to the consultant to decide on surgery. She keeps pushing for me to have a hysterectomy

I’m waiting on a total hysterectomy due to endo, fibroids and PID. I have seen a consultant on the NHS and also private to speed things up. Whilst I am waiting my private consultant wants me to have Zoladex injections. How have you all found this? Xx

Unusual symptoms of Endometriosis
Hi all. Ive just come back from the doctors who has referred my back to a Gynaecologist as she believes some of my symptoms are ends related. I had a Hysterectomy in 2014 but due to end cells being left behind, I now have regular "periods" every 25 days. I was wondering if anyone else had had the same

zoladex injections? Hysterectomy? Any experiences really appreciated..
so i have atleast a years wait for a hysterectomy, i can't stand this life ruling pain anymore. My specialist said i could try zoladex injection whilst I'm waiting? I'm so sensitive to side effects & hormones , and there seems to be alot with zoladex , let alone hysterectomy 😖 after years

6 Years on and I think it's back!
Hi ladies, not been following these groups for a while as had total hysterectomy in 2016 removing uterus and ovaries after many years of pain with stage 4 endo on womb, bowel and pouch of douglas. Went on HRT and have gradually got better since -until about 6 months ago. The symptoms I used to suffer

mirena coil help
Hi, I have been diagnosed with stage 4 endo through a lap last year. I was fine until a couple of months ago and now the pain is back for 2 solid weeks out of every month. My surgeon is reluctant to perform a hysterectomy because he said i have too much scaring and the risks are extremely high.

Im a few years post hysterectomy and ovaries removed and been have had bouts of severe pain in my left lower pelvis and bowel issues, resulted in referral to endo specialist again. Zoladex
HI am currently having Zoladex injection which has brought on menopause symptoms. I am currently on Zoladex every 28 days (had 2nd injection) to shrink fibroids before I have a hysterectomy. I wanted to ask if anyone had this injection for a similar thing and what symptoms they experienced? am worried

Post surgery intermittent pain
Hi Ladies I had a laprascopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy and bilateral salpino oophrectomy 6 weeks ago for OC. Since my operation I have had a lump on my right side where my tumour was the gynae team think it’s a haematoma. I also still get some discomfort on that side. Otherwise I feel really well

Best HRT options after total hysterectomy
Hi, hope you’re all having a good day 🤗 After having a total hysterectomy and ovaries removed, I’ve been on Tibalone for a few years now, it seemed to be working, I wasn’t having too many menopause symptoms, but for the last 6 months it has got so bad, I have no energy, low mood, really bad brain fog

Pain increasing despite Zoladex jabs
I've been on Zoladex jabs now to stop my cycle for over a year while I wait for surgery, my pain is steadily increasing despite me not having a period. I always get pain the week I would normally be having my period and have the entire time I've been on the jabs but now it's getting unbearable again

injections to start menopause
I was just wondering if anybody on here had experience with the injections to bring on menopause. I have just started these injections last Thursday and I'm being kept on them for 4months they are then going to decide whether to give me another laporoscopy or a hysterectomy. Did anybody else suffer

Still swollen tummy 10 months after radical surgery, anyone?
Hi Ladies, I have not really put on any weight. I had a 10 hour, keyhole, OC operation, removing half my stomach, some omentum, appendix, complete hysterectomy, and a few other procedures last October. The surgery was miraculous. I am now on 400mg Olaparib. I was always size 10 (only 5ft tall, c.

appendix removal for BOTs
has anyone else had a complete radical hysterectomy after a 20cm MBOT and no mention of removal of appendix? It just occurred to me when doing some research that most people mention removal of appendix when they remove the cyst, my cyst was removed in 2019 and now I have had radical hysterectomy but

Overmedicated but low temperature readings?
Morning everyone! I've attached my last blood test results from March again. I have Hashimoto's and my doctor is still insisting I'm overmedicated (due to my low TSH level, which has been that low, or lower, for about nine years) but I don't feel good and my temperate is anything from 35.2 to 35.6
