Prednisone masking various pain issues?
I have read prednisone does not treat certain pain issues ie “arthritis” yet I am also seeing many commemts about prednisone “masking” certain issues, seems like a contradiction, and resulting in a view that prednisone is a

safe painkiller use with tinnitus?
my question is apart from paracetamol which
pain
killer
can I use without risking exacerbating tinnitus? I have an old injury that flares up now and again. I used to control it with ibuprofen but I understand ibuprofen is an ototoxic drug and to be avoided for those with tinnitus.

PMR from taper or osteoarthritis
Rheumy suggests continue with taper, now even hands painful worse in morning along with all joints, inflammation markers normal etc, and rheumy says pred a
pain
killer
so increasing bu 5 for few days would of course expect pain to decrease , so struggling with what to do at this point, can only take

Pain relief during Period
Is it acceptable for me to request something else stronger so soon and does anyone have a stronger
pain
killer
during period week? I was hoping I could speak to doctor and request a stronger one for when I need it.

Recieved rheumatologist letter and conclusion
He reported that the introduction of Pred at 15mg was no more than an effective
pain
killer
and also the reason why I could not successfully taper down from 15mg. The fact that my inflammatory markers have not changed also indicates that this was never PMR.

This did hurt but was given

ibuprofen & Pramipexole
Have just discovered that Ibuprofen renders Pramipexole ineffective and I took a couple of Ibuprofen as a
pain
killer
. Will I ever get to sleep? Does the Ibuprofen wear off.? If/when it does, will the the pramipexole kick in or do I have to take more?

Pain relief?
I'm 74 with ET JAK 2 , I also have Arthritis in my hips. My Physiotherapist advised using a Pain relieving gel - but I said they contain Ibuprofen and I'm not allowed that as I'm on Apixaban. He said ask a Pharmacist as 'they will know'. I'm not so sure about that as some Haematologists don't know about
