pain killer failed

my wife has just stopped taking pregablin due to side effects. Woke in the middle of the night with big “bang” in her back-shot up And felt much pain in right arm. Dr has agreed to the stoppage. We have now tried all the known pain killers and really nothing has worked For her. That leaves legally

Which pain killer

Which pain killer is the best to use? Paracetamol doesn't seem to work very well. My hips have been hurting a fair bit. I'm tapping down and my body doesn't like it much!

Mirena coil

I have irregular bleeding, but no regular periods, sporadic pain which I am dealing with pain killer. The frequency of severe pain seems less, but still quite often I have pain in the morning and at night.

Pain and no help

She said paracetamol should be strong enough pain killer. I also have had my sleeping tablets taken off me, even though they were working. But this new pain in the middle of my chest is leaving me in pain and breathless.

Final Journey

The last few days have been very stressful and emotional as my amazing wife is now sedated and on pain killer meds. I pray she has a painless and peaceful release from this awful illness.

Update - methotrexte liver test

Ive not drank in months, i dont take a single pain killer, i take prednisolone, hydroxychloroquine, sertraline and an iron supplement from the doctors. Should i just put my foot down now and ask for another medication? Can i take anything else with a crap liver? Do i need to see a liver person?

First Post. Uniquie Symptoms?

One doctor prescribed a pain killer and for reasons unknown the whole thing would be gone in about 5 days. It did not happen even on only oral cyanocobalamin. It is in my past. Guessing it had something to do with my neurological system.

I had NO FIBRO PAIN while I had Covid. Significant?

Zolpidem is actually the most effective pain-killer, when I take it at night to sleep.

Pernicious anaemia?

I have never had any medical conditions (apart from a bout of pancreatitis a couple of years ago) and never been on any medications apart from the occasional pain killer or dose of antibiotics. I exercise and meditate daily. I don't drink alcohol or caffeine.

pain killer use with methotrexate

I wonder if anyone can help? I had a flare last week and was told by the nhs to take ibruprofen and paracetamol to help every 4 hours. But I’ve just taken my weekly dose of methotrexate (7 tablets) and wondered if I can take these pain killers on the same day as the methotrexate? When I looked it up

RLS what works for me

This stuff will give the same effect as taking a pain killer, but it's natural. Do some research and get on forums. The medical community doesn't always take too kindly. I quit my doctor because of it. Now I have a doctor who believes in natural medicine.

12dp5dt cramping

They're strong enough I'd take a pain killer if I could. My husband and I have promised ourselves we won't test until tomorrow (OTD is Monday), but I'm worried that this means it's all over.

I'm back!

I started pain killer free Sundays in January but yesterday was one of the hardest days, I ended up sobbing due to pain and just the fact that I am sick of dealing with this on my own. Sorry for the vent, I hope everything is well with you all x

Stopping Cerazette

First time poster, but I’ve taken many tips from this board so thank you all in advance. 2 years ago I doubled over in agony, eventually got sent to A&E via my GP with suspected appendicitis. Wasn’t appendicitis, it was a haemorrhaging ovarian cyst. Sent home with painkillers, had a couple of scans and

Toothache and af

Am sitting here with painful toothache and I think I have an abbsess. Can anyone tell me if the numbing injections they give at rhe dentist trigger AF ? or anything else to watch for at rhe dentist. I have a huge fear of dentists and knowing the visit may cause af also is tipping me over the edge.
