Potential endo and non-hormonal IUD
I think I have endo, or something similar. I've been on painkillers, NSAIDs and have had an ultrasound that was normal. I am now waiting for my referral to the gyno. I was recommended the birth control pill when I was younger to reduce the symptoms but I don't want anything hormonal. I got the non-hormonal

Painkillers
Due to previous Radio/Chemo on the neck area I have developed necrotic breakdown of the bone tissue in the right side of my jaw and when I lapse in the constant Gruel I consume it can flare up and become so painful I cannot sleep or eat. The situation is complicated by GCA and in the past Co-codamol/

I don't understand how a doctor can prescribe an opiod

Circumcision - One week Post-op.
Hi guys - (I'm 72) I'm one week post op and all seems well so far (fingers still crossed). I had to have my op as many months ago my foreskin split (not massively but it was very painful for months) and after it healed it would not retract anymore. The tip of my foreskin was pulled tight like a rubber

Being in uni with endo is probably the worst Experience of my life. At only 20 years old ive been in and out of hospital on morphine since 2021 in constant pain. I recently just got the coil inserted and I’m in agony. I have missed so many classes, exams, content and labs. I feel so depressed because

Too young for arthritis?
Hi, I’m a 21 year old who is suffering from knee pain and cracking/grinding joints. I am overweight and have always put the knee grinding down to my weight but recently in the past 6 months my knee has started to hurt and I can no longer squat and it hurts to climb stairs. The Dr told me I was too young

Reduced levothyroxine now have symptoms, please advise 😞
Hi, On all my blood test results for years my TSH has been suppressed. Usually around 0.007 or thereabouts. I saw a new doctor for an unrelated issue & she told me to reduce my levothyroxine because I’m apparently overmedicated. I felt perfectly fine. Now I don’t. I reduced from 125mcg to 112.5mcg nearly

Pain post period and potentially after intercourse
I suffer from post period cramps but am trying to conceive so am avoiding pain killers. I have been diagnosed Adenomyosis with some articles suggesting that sometimes is accompanied with endometriosis. Am wondering if the pain is related to intercourse or is hormonal changes i.e. where I am in the cycle

New Diagnosis
Not much of a purpose, just an update really. I recently got diagnosed by a GP and a rheumatologist with Fibromyalgia. Honestly, there's a mixture of feelings right now, I'm angry because I've been in pain for 8 years and told time and time again there isn't anything wrong with me, but now everything

Anyone got advice for severe back pain?
I have been in the house for over a week in a lot of pain from my lower back. It started with my period but hasn’t went away and it is stopping me from doing everything. It started on my lower right side of the back but now is on the tailbone. It is sending shooting pains down my right leg and a lot

Recurring Infection and Pudendal Nerve Pain?
So I’m not sure if this will help others but I had a pelvic infection 35 years ago and then agonising pain in my right groin 6 mos later (no elevated sed rate) which responded to doxycycline - numb aching mass - and Drs said my symptoms sounded like an abscess (but a pelvic sonogram showed nothing)

10 weeks (tomorrow) post RF ablation.
Hi all, thought I'd drop a note giving my feedback and conclusions. Hope it helps anyone making the decision. After 4 years of persistent AF and 4 cardioversions - I hated the idea of an ablation and refused to have one, believing that the cardioversions were good enough - the NSR after the 4th one

caverject/aprostadil pain
I had prostate surgery not too long ago and am now trying to find what works best regarding the ED aftereffect. Cialis did not work, Caverject/aprostadil was too painful, so now I am using Bimix Forte with a vacuum pump, which is better than nothing. I would like to try the caverject again with some

Endometriosis life
I got diagnosed with endometriosis in May last year and was in hospital in July for a labroscopy to burn out all the big cells that were there for endometriosis. I have been on microgynon 30 from October to keep my levels low and under control so I can live a "normal" life. Since new year I have been

Is it arthritis? What to do....
I am in my 5th year of PMR and am down to 1.5 mg prednisone. My last bloodwork looked good, so I felt confident in going from 2.5 to the current 1.5, over 2 months. I don't feel as if my PMR is returning but I do have lots of joint pain in the morning -- in my knees, hands and wrists. I suspect it
