Anyone?

Hi Em

This must have been missed. :( Can't help with the rest of the blood count, I'm afraid. :(

I can't see a current TSH or T4 result?

What is your current dose of levo?

How are you feeling?

If you don't get any more responses today, I would suggest posting as a new question.

Louise

Last tsh was 0.94 (0.2-4.50 range) and ft4 was 12.9 (9-23 range)

Current dose is 125

Also on antidepressant sertraline 150

Past few months my tiredness has increased, my periods have got worse, having pins and needles in my hands/feet, aches on my joints, cramp, depression, memory poor/like I'm in a bubble, goitre, low basal temp, always cold. Pretty much most things listed as thyroid.

My house is a complete mess but I have no energy to do anything about it. I am doing the bare basics in my life and my family are suffering but the GPS don't seem to want to help as they say my levels are normal.

Hi Louise is right. you need TSH, T4 and Free T3 for correct thyroid treatment.Your FBC is fine but I would ,with those results take some iron/ferritin. Spatone is best ,Amazon or dearer Holland and Barratt. LFT`s good U`s and Es ( kidney ) good. However, sodium a little high in range, may cause high BP. Make sure you are drinking enough and not having too much salt.for that. I would be thrilled with those results. It certainly sounds like the problem is thyroid .

Best wishes,

Jackie

Thanks Jackie, gp didn't want to do tsh and ft4 as not long had done.

I think from reading my ft4 needs to be higher, it's 12.9 (9-25 range)

Was slightly concerned that the lymphocyte count was under the range and that the gfr is towards the bottom end (I googled and it says its to do with kidney disease)

I drink lots, mainly tea and coffee though and don't add salt to very much food.

Hi Do not worry your Us and E`s are good, the most important one is GFR, think of a problems when it starts to go below 60, for me 45 is good ( renal disease) It is a funny one to understand as no ranges but normally 60 is only mild impairment which can be lots of things.

So long as you drink plenty and only add salt when cooked that should be fine.Tests can be quite bad but then just need repeating, yours are fine. If serious kidney problems terrible pain , infections etc. Then an ultra sound needed. The low Lymphocyte probably is that you have no infection , good.T4 sounds too low. Normally needed to be in top third of range and FT3 near the top, depends on bloods but also how you feel.Tea and coffee good, water even better.

Best wishes,

Jackie
