Hello, my recent blood tests showed I am having slightly too much thyroxine ( I was having 100 mcg one day and 112.5 mcg the next day, splitting 25 mcg tablets). I am reducing the dose slightly, but I am feeling very achey all over and tired. I have been on a gluten free diet for almost 3 weeks. Could this be causing aching? I have started taking Vitamin D this week. Many thanks.

Your blood results do not indicate overmedication. In fact, free T3 is too low, showing poor conversion. I would not have reduced dose with those results. Taking vit D3 - you also need to take magnesium and vit K2 to make sure that the additional calcium goes into the bones not the soft tissue (very important) should help with aches and pains. But that low t3 will not help you feel well. most people feel well with a free t4 and free t3 around 75% of the range and TSH wherever it ends up when that happens. Your free t4 is currently 74% of the range, which is great, but free T3 is only 27%, which is terrible. Ideally, you need some T3 added to your levo, but no chance on the NHS.
Thank you Angel_of_the_North for taking the time to reply. Your comments are very helpful. I don’t know how to go about getting any T3. I have paid twice to see private doctors ( one was an Endo) to try to get a prescription for T3, but neither would prescribe me any. I didn’t have these latest blood test results at that point. What is the best way to source T 3 and to ensure I get the right dose? Many thanks. The comments on this forum are so informative.
Post a new request to private message you with sources of t3.
It might also be possible to get a private prescription for T3 if there is an sympathetic endo (see TUK list) in your area, but that would mean sending prescription to (probably) Germany to get a reasonable price.
I recently upped my thyroid med after stopping for two, going to lower dose for four days, then increasing back to original dose since Sunday. I already feel hyper again. I will reduce tomorrow. I think decreasing other medications have screwed up my levels and amount of thyroid I need to take. I haven’t slept for two days, oily skin, diarrhea, and vomiting again since increasing
