Your vitamin D is too low, so you need to supplement to improve to around 100nmol

Many of us on here find Better You vitamin D mouth spray is good as avoids poor gut function

Suggest you try 3000iu daily. Important to test twice yearly when on vitamin D supplements

Vitamindtest,org.uk £29 postal kit

Plus read up on here about importance of also taking magnesium and vitamin K2 Mk7 as well when on vitamin D

If supplementing B12 you would expect result to be high. Folate is not brilliant considering you are supplementing

Ferritin is good

Thyroid results do not immediately suggest a problem, no high antibodies. But your FT3 is slightly low

Ever had trauma to head, whiplash or very heavy bleed during labour.

You say you have stomach issues?

Do you suspect low stomach acid?

Or gluten intolerance? Have you had Coeliac blood test.

Trying strictly gluten free diet may help

Not everyone with Hashimoto's has raised antibodies.

Thank you so much for your reply. I’ve had so many tests and seen so many ologists, I feel completely fed up. I had coeliac text, negative. Vitamin d was extremely low last year, was prescribed very high dose but no retest. I do take magnesium n vitamin k2 with my vitamin d, but now not sure of ratios. Diagnosed with cfs but have many other symptoms. My stomach has greatly improved since taking probiotics, constipation issues under control (as long as no stress or change in routine!) Suffer from sleep problems, anxiety n a little depression. Prolapses, despite no weight gain/loss or children. Varicose n thread veins, stretch marks in strange places. Thinking connective tissue? Sorry for long reply, just hit a big brick wall. Doctors just put everything down to cfs. Definitely need help to get ‘me’ back !

"do take magnesium n vitamin k2 with my vitamin d, but now not sure of ratios."

No set ratios.

K2-mk7 90-100mcg daily. It is fat soluble, like D3, so should be taken with the fattiest meal of the day or some dietary fat.

Magnesium just take dose recommended on pack.

D3 and magnesium should be taken 4 hours away from thyroid meds.

Suggest you try strictly gluten free diet.

Coeliac test does not rule out gluten intolerance

It does need to be 100% strictly gluten free to be effective.

Needs to be at least 3-6 months to see if it helps

Persistent low vitamins with supplements suggests coeliac disease or gluten intolerance

Thank you again for getting back. I do feel better when I cut back on gluten but as you say...it needs to be 100% to be effective. Have also ordered Better You vit d spray.

Important to test vitamin D, ideally twice yearly when on supplements.
