Antonia, lab ref ranges really are needed for meanngful comments/advice.

On the face of it, it looks like you have auto-immune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's) and your TSH rose and FT4 dropped in Dec.

If you aren't on medication your TSH over 5 with elevated autoimmune antibodies means you ought to be on 75mcg/100mcg levothyroxine.

Hashimoto's is a fluctuating condition so you may find it difficult to stabilise meds while your thyroid sputters in and out of condition. It would be helpful if you kept a symptoms diary so you can reduce meds if you feel you're going hyper and increase when you go back to being hypo.

I don't understand any of the other results, so can't comment.

In addition to looking hypo, your MCV and MCH are high so you need B12 and folate tested, you're possibly deficient in those.

Just remembered we talked about this in your last question - with your symptoms and family history I would push for the PA antibody tests as well, anti-intrinsic factor / anti-parietal cells.

Hi i went for a b12 glucose and thyroid and they are the results i.m given its whats printed so can t add anymore to it cause thats all i had i can.t see my doctor until 10th march thats the earliest i can be seen its stupid also they never took my thyroid so i.m going to have to phone for a emergancy appointment in the morning as i need that as it will be 8 wks since starting 50mg of levo. I keep forgetting everything i.ve been so ill lately i don.t know what to do anymore.

Some doctors only do the FBC when you ask for a B12 test, it's ridiculous because you can be B12 deficient and have absolutely nothing abnormal showing in the FBC. In your case however I would guess (without seeing your ranges) that you're right at the top of the range for MCV and MCH which indicates macrocytosis, so you need to insist on B12 and folate tests. I really can't understand why they haven't done it, when that's what they suspect is wrong with you. And also definitely insist on that thyroid retest, probably time for an increase in dose.
